The compact design makes it easy to store and the bright digital display makes it easy to read. I used to use analog thermometers and hated how long they would take to register and reading them was always tough. Making the switch to digital has made life so much easier and removed doubt when it comes to making sure the cut of meat is properly cooked and safe. So no more under or over cooking of meat and it makes it easy to make sure everyone gets their steak the way they want it.

I'm TERRIBLE at telling if meats are raw or cooked. So this was a purchase I needed if I wanted to not get poisoned. First meat I cooked was chicken (bad idea since this can actually make me sick if not cooked). But using this thermometer saved me from overthinking. I used this to temp the oil and then I used it to temp the chicken. I cut open the chicken and it was cooked (based on what my family says and my taste buds)! Will be using this whenever I cook meat!

I purchased this for some weekend grilling. I didn’t want to shell out a lot of money on a fancy one so went ahead and purchased this one.

Lo and behold, this actually turned out to be a great purchase. The quality is good for the price point and like how long the rod is. I’ve already used it a couple times and it works well. I like how it has some guidelines printed on it that tell you what temperature different meat should be cooked to so you don’t have to look it up yourself.

The thermometer does what it's supposed to accurately. Its design is intuitive and large numbers make the temp easy to read. I wish the backlit display would stay lit longer than its 5 second default shutoff, but there is a button that lights the screen as long as you want so, once I memorized that button's location, this became a non-issue. Would recommend.

It's pretty accurate and feels sturdy not cheap and bright display screen. It's pretty fast in reading the temp. It also has very good battery life and feels like it has a good grip and design.

Needed a replacement and saw this one. I like the fact that it is simple to use. The unit shuts off when you retract the thermometer . Not as slim as my pervious unit but the display is larger. Happy so far
