Feels substantial in hand, yet not too heavy. Attachments twist lock on with ease and lock tight. The immersion blender itself is amazing! So much power to the blades and NO splashing or popping out of the mixing bowl or cup. I put frozen berries in to a mixing cup with milk and it powered through like it was nothing!!! It blended the mixture perfectly. Wow. This is the best kitchen purchase I have made in a long time!

I've always wanted one of these but I wasn't sure if it would be worth it. I've already used this so many times and it's definitely its own tool with different uses than a blender or mixer, and it's very versatile. It's absolutely fantastic for making pesto and I'd buy it again for that alone.
The whisk attachment is fantastic for whipped cream or meringue, and I've used the regular blend attachment for all sorts of things like soups, pesto, fruit compotes, and mashed potatoes. It's also bowl safe and I've used it pans and bowls with no scratches. All of the attachments are also dishwasher safe so it's very easy to clean once you're done mixing.
The only thing I don't like about it is it can only run for about 30 seconds before you need to give it a break, so that can make mixing thick things like mashed potatoes a bit slow to start. It's not a huge issue though unless you're a little impatient like I am!

we've been through a few hand blenders and we're disappointed whenever the plastic gear would become stripped after minimal use.
this one has exceeded our expectations, after realizing that it took a bit more force to lock the head in place, but it stays there and is not difficult to undo.
Super high powered, lightweight, and easy to use. There is a blue backlight that is always on, and unnecessary in my opinion.

if you've been through a few and blenders I say give this one a try.

I had read good things about this and then a friend mentioned getting one so he wouldn't have to dirty up the big blender making smoothies. That was my reason also to buy one: I have one of the Ninja blenders which can also heat ingredients to make soups which is great, but because of its heater element the blender jar cannot go in the dishwasher. So, it's a chore to clean. When I got this hand blender I was worried it wouldn't be able to chop up ice though . . . oh nelly, don't worry about it chopping ice. It could probably chop diamonds in half. It chops anything that gets under its little blades—and how. If you have large glasses it will fit in, it's easy to put smoothie ingredients in and just make a smoothie in the glass/cup, so long as it's large enough the blender parts can fit in it.

Everything is easy to clean and pretty solid construction: not the top-level you get maybe with some more expensive brands but still plenty durable. And very powerful.

Love this. We've had two prior to this one that were more plastic while this one is stainless mostly. The only downside, even though I realize that it's a safety issue, is holding down the button to make it work. Kind of inconvenient for something like cooking scrambled eggs where you need constant stirring [with the handy whisk attachment!] but it's a small inconvenience.

I’m very happy with this product.. bought it for smoothies & cappuccino primarily but will use it for other recipes too like guacamole. I love that it’s easy to use, easy to clean & isn’t super loud so I’m not waking up the entire house making a breakfast smoothie lol. For under $20, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommend

This hand blender is so fast. Will be great for whipping cream, puréeing soup and sauces. Unfortunately the coiled attachment is uncoiled so not usable. It is a bit heavy but will manage. The quality feels sturdy and looking forward to using it. Recommend getting this hand blender
