This keeps my sons dresser from moving and tipping!
Secure anchor when reinforced w tie wraps
These hooks are strong and anchor well into a stud of a wall. The hooks allow for a small amount of maneuverability which I find helpful.
Very tough quick and easy to install they can handle weight really well
These kits are awesome to keep heavy items from tipping over. They simply do what they are designed to do. They work well. We installed them on some dressers and on heavy wall mirrors that the little one might tip over. Most furniture nowadays come with the anti-tip kit. But if your furniture doesn’t come with the kit, this one is great. Brings ten so you can secure plenty home furnishings.
These are the ones. Look no further. We’re military and move constantly and the metal clasp make them the best for anchoring and reanchoring furniture.
I moved to LA recently, and needed to attach the tall bookcases to the wall in case of earthquake. (I'm from Michigan - I freak out about earthquakes, but not tornedos.) I couldn't use an L bracket because it's an older house with uneven floors, and I felt like there should be some give in the attachment because of the floors. These have good directions, and there's a video on attaching them. I used a battery powered drill to put in the anchors, and to put the screws in. There's just enough give that I don't worry about the uneven floors or the fact the I've got shims under the shelves to keep them even.
These are easy to install, so far installed 3 of them. & I like the fact that I could unhook the metal thing easily if I needed to move the furniture. Others that I saw, once it was installed it couldn’t be moved.
I’m disappointed about this because one of the metal wires that is used to attach the furniture to the wall is broken & it can’t be used. I realized it after I had installed two & didn’t want to go the the hassle of returning them. I haven’t checked to see if any more are broken. If so I will update my review
