Ordered this 16 pack of the “trans” colored, XL size chair feet protectors. They seem like they would be great, but they gapped on the sides. I am going to order a size down. They do stretch, so I’m guessing you can order a size down and it would be work better, The bottom of the protectors have a felt-type material that would not scratch hardwood floors.

For years I had the felt stick on floor protectors for our kitchen counter stools. They constantly were coming off and you had to put them back on. When I saw these, I figured somebody had some common sense and designed something that would not only protect the floor, but "stay on", and they do!

These Sgooyir floor protectors are definitely the answer to protecting your floors from being scratched. They are easy to put on, I used 2 fingers to stretch the silicone apart a bit while I pulled it over the base of the stool foot to get it started, then wiggled it up and centered the bottom of the pad to the stool foot base. It fits tightly and does not move around which is good.

The clear silicone is great as it doesn't stand out to distract from the stool leg. My stools had square metal legs and it is important to choose either the round or square. Also, measure the bottom diameter of the stool or chair foot accurately and choose the correct size, this is important for a good fit.

Our stools are on linoleum, and they slide fairly well with these floor protectors and the bottom of the pad has a non-slip design which is good. I like that the material that is used for the pad is not pure felt, as the pure felt stick on pads I had before "wear out" quickly. Overall, great product!

I was glad to find floor protectors in this size. I have some chairs with 1.25” on the back legs and 1.75” on the rear. This size is rated for 1.37 to 1.75” and I can verify that it fits (tightly) on 1.75” The felt is a good texture, not too slippery.

The package of leg grippers arrived well packaged and not damaged. They appear to be of good quality. The only issue we had is that they do not fit our chair legs, they are too big. So, the size range of the one we purchased encompassed our size, however they still are too large. I am afraid if we order a size down that they will not even go on the chair legs. We will trying another seller.
