This cover fit over the entire sectional and provided waterproof protection for the furniture so we can leave it on the deck through the winter.
We got this to protect our counter-height outdoor dining set, which seats six.
While it's long enough, it wasn't tall enough to cover our chairs completely. The chairs are very expensive to replace, as is the firepit dining table.
We were a bit disappointed, then realized it will perfectly fit the outdoor sectional and firepit table grouping. Sure enough, it easily covered the whole set. We secured it by pulling the cinches at the bottom and then wrapped a strap around the entire set, as a precaution. This is for winter storage on our deck, so we also tossed in some bars of Irish Spring to keep critters away.
We live in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin, where winter winds are harsh, strong and often last for what seems like days. We easily get feet of show piled up on anything outdoors, so we have to really take protection seriously - especially the expensive things.
My husband wished there were some loops - like belt loops - that you could put straps through, so the cover can be secured to anchors. A few good wind gusts and covers tend to balloon up.
Other than that, it seems water tight and the fabric is a heavy utility fabric.
We'll update the review as the winter progresses and certainly after we open up the deck in the Spring.
I recommend it, though, for covering a sectional and firepit table, or a dining set that isn't counter height.
UPDATE WITH PHOTO: The first winter storm of the season blew through a couple days ago, snow, hail, wind and SO MUCH RAIN! Flooding, trees down and road closures.
This cover did everything we hoped it would. We've had downpours, icing, snow and so many windy days this week. The cover held on and kept everything protected.
As you can see, we didn't strap it all down. We didn't have to: the drawstring cinch at the bottom is really tight and secure.
My neighbors came over to collect their cover, which blew off and ended up wrapped around our deck, and commented on this cover being so durable.
They ordered one while standing on my deck.
I recommend 10/10.
Awesome! Finally something big….. enough to cover my outdoor furniture! I’ve had the hardest time trying to find someone who makes a big enough (width and length) product that can cover my outdoor furniture. I do not have any store-bought outdoor furniture, I am a DIY person and made my own. But the dimensions of the furniture I have are not that much different than the ones in the store, however, I have had the hardest time trying to find a product for whatever reason, to cover my furniture! It’s either too narrow (width wise) or too short, (lengthwise) to fit my furniture. I want to be able to leave my outdoor cushions overnight and for a few days, at least, and not be able to worry if it is going to rain or not, and my outdoor cushions gets soaked and start to stink, or even worse, mold. As expensive as they are, especially for the good kind, I really wanted to take care of these cushions. Now I can finally leave the cushions outside in place (as long as I keep them covered, obviously) and not worry about if a small rain cell in the middle of the night manages to bless my grass, but ruin my cushions! The product from what I can tell is made very well, it seems pretty durable, and looks like it will be easy to clean with some mild soap and water maybe even a scrub brush or something. I honestly didn’t even look at the directions, I was that excited to make sure that this product fit my outdoor furniture layout. And it does! So far so good, I would definitely recommend this product if you have some furniture that you want to keep in good condition and covered from the elements. I will update accordingly if something were to occur. Otherwise, as of right now, I would definitely recommend this product!
it felt like a good material I wasn't able to cover it with the patio set I had since I got the measurements wrong but if it does fit I think it would do great
Hello friends, I selected this patio furniture cover by kikcoin for covering a sectional sofa seat outside on a deck.
This is a nice heavy duty cover. It covered an entire couch, two-side chairs and a stretch table. There was still room even in the end. It pulls down over and then has a drawstring to tuck it into the furniture so it doesn't blow away. It doesn't actually lay down flat like the pictures. I suppose you could leave it like that but are not likely to if it's windy. We originally had a tarp that didn't even survive half the summer before it disintegrated. I'm hoping that this will last much longer than that. If it disintegrates prematurely, I will be back to update this review.
Straps help to keep cover on. Fabric feels thick and water repellant. Fits over my 7 piece outdoor table and chairs. Hoping it will keep them clean and dry all winter.
This patio cover is made of quality materials and is very durable compared to other covers I have had.
Initial Thoughts:
The cover arrived well packaged in a sealed bag. It was heavier and more substantial than I initially anticipated.
The cover has 2 ventilation areas on each side, 4 attachment clips (1 on each corner), and 2 handles that can be used for additional tiedowns to prevent wind damage.
Use:
I am using this patio furniture cover to keep several chairs, end tables, and a fire pit safe from the elements.
The cover is under a gazebo, but it still gets plenty of rain and high winds to contend with and has held up great.
I ended up attaching the clips on each of the corners to some of the furniture legs to prevent either the cover or the furniture from possibly blowing away in high winds.
I really like that fact that this cover has 2 side vents to prevent mold from growing on the patio furniture or cushions.
Overall Thoughts:
This is a quality cover that has worked great for keeping my furniture protected from the elements, and highly recommend it!
