Since my bed is traditionally at floor level, I bought this bed frame to be ready for the recovery period for upcoming foot surgery. Finally built the bed, had the surgery and am currently using it for about 6 weeks.
The Good: If you can turn a wrench, it goes together fast and easily. It's solid once built. i'm about 170 pounds and there's no wavering or wobbling when I'm on it.
The not so good: About 2 weeks into using it each night (and much of the day), it acquired a few small creaking noises. Now, 6 weeks in, it's got more creaks and moans. I predict the downfall of this bed frame is that after a year, it'll sound like Grampa's old farm truck, a-groanin' and a squeakin' and a creakin' every time you move on it. We'll see. The parts go together very snugly, so I'm not sure what could be done during assembly to counteract the tendency to creak. There's no room to put plastic slipsheets or suchlike between the parts.

Well made sturdy metal frame with easy assembly & good instructions. I'm happy with the bed frame and the instructions as well as it coming with a mini ratchet for quick assembly. It has a rubber coating on top of some of the rails to stop the mattress from sliding around but there is nothing in the way of bed frame to stop this from happening. For the price paid and quality of frame, can't complain at all. It looks made to last. If it had a built-in way to stop the mattress movement on top then that might be the only improvement I would ask for. Otherwise, it does the job and is well made & designed. Also the center rail could have slid into itself as the two side rails do and that might have even been one step more sturdy but not complaining.
This bed frame is perfect for anybody on a budget! It gives you underneath storage if you are limited to space. It was fairly easy to put together you may need two people to make it easier but it can be put together by one person. It has been sturdy for the year I have had it and that’s with having two bigger dogs on it as well. The only down fall is that it is starting to creak but it’s not terrible.
The bed is easy to assemble. It includes clear directions and all the tools necessary for assembly. I recently moved and have put together multiple pieces of furniture. This is by far, the best one. Not only was it easy to put together, it is super sturdy. I liked it so much, that I bought a second one for my other son's bed! Cannot recommend enough!
Frame was easy to assemble. Only complaint is the rubber gripping meant to keep the mattress from slipping was installed on the cross piece rather than on the top rails; does not make contact with the mattress at all. This is our second exact one of these frames. Apparently this one has some errors in the construction. Will keep it but worry about mattress sliding.
Yes, it takes a while to assemble. But easy. And the little ratchet hex they send is a wrist-saver. Love that you can choose height. Price is great for the quality. Very sturdy. I was going to build a wooden platform for a new mattress, but for the time and cost to build, this was the better bet.
Shipping was super fast! Easy out of the box and had my mattress on it with in twenty minutes. I put it together by myself.
I was super nervous about it because of the price but so far so good. I have slept in it a few nights on a hardwood floor and I took and turn all night. No squeaky sounds or anything.
I will purchase this brand again in the future for sure!
The hardest thing about assembling this Queen size Zinus Yelena frame was getting up and down off the floor, if you are old you will understand. The instructions are very clear and so easy to follow.

One thing not mentioned in the description but I found it in the questions is that there are holes to attach a headboard but not a footboard. My headboard is wider than the frame so I need to order a $12 headboard adapter plate but that is very common.

These are only first impressions as I only just installed the platform yesterday. But I am pleased. It frees up a pretty substantial amount of space not having the box spring, which I appreciate both visually (makes the room feel more open) and functionally (makes it much easier to clean under the bed, and can be used for storage).

Assembly was relatively painless. I give a lot of credit for them including a ratchet, rather than just the standard Allen wrench, as I found that exceptionally useful. The way the instructions are set-up is unique from my experience, but it worked well enough. All the parts are labelled with numbered stickers, but they don't identify the part, they identify a specific *location* on the part. You line that up with diagrams in the instructions, e.g. that show a 2 and a 2 locking together. It's curious that the numbers are not entirely unique, they are duplicated in multiple places on multiple parts, but with some light deduction you can figure it out. There aren't that many parts to get confused with, and the shapes are sufficiently different.

It is a bit confusing that the instructions have letter identifiers for each part, but the parts are not labeled with those letters. You'd have to look at the manual and figure out which letter is which part based on shape, but this is redundant since you can also just look a the shape of the part in the assembly diagrams. Anyways it sorts itself if you take your time. The parts fit together snugly and I have confidence in the strength and stability of the platform.

There is adhesive on some the support beams to prevent the mattress from slipping around. That is useful, because otherwise there would not be a lot of friction between the mattress and the metal platform. Though this does make it more challenging to get the mattress in place. It might be easier if you had someone helping you to gently lay the mattress in the specific correct position (as opposed to me, working alone, flopping it onto the platform and then needing to fight the adhesive to adjust it to the correct position).

I am happy to be freed of my decade-old box spring, and to have replaced it with something more space-efficient and durable. My cat ripped off the fabric covering the bottom, and amidst the wooden beams and springs discovered an exciting jungle gym for him to bounce around in at 4 am.

The instructions were perfectly clear and simple. Half hour max with 2 people. The best is the support it gives to our new Zinus mattress. Haven't slept this well in comfort for quite a few years. Love it.
