Liked it now the cat don't scratch it
I liked that these came in different sizes, and I like the material they are made of. I wanted to like them but within 30 mins they started peeling off my couch. I’d re~attach only to find them on the floor or peeling off again. Since I already applied them all I don’t see how I could get my money back now very disappointed
I ordered two cat scratch preventers to be able to compare them. I ordered "Eosarcu【NO PINS Hurt】 Cat Scratch Furniture Protector-12 Pack Self-Adhesive Single Side Couch Protectors for Cats,Cat Tape Training Couch Corner Guards for Sofa, Anti Cat Scratching Deterrent Protectors" (Eosarcu) and "Polamg Cat Scratch Furniture Protector-12 P Single Side Couch Protector for Cats, Clear Cat Scratch Deterrent for Furniture Door Wall" (Polamg). The 4 star rating (on both) is due to the misleading pictures.
Although the product sheet size descriptions are accurate, it appears that one sheet will protect a large portion of a couch. However, reality is that the largest sheet is about 12 by 15 1/2. My couch is 82" long by 28" high and would require 7 sheets to make one row 15 1/2" high (Eosacru) or 14" high (Polamg) across the back for the 'high' scratching area then more sheets along the bottom for when our cat lays on the floor and pulls herself along using the couch. I also wanted to cover the back & sides of a chair- definitely not with one pack. It's a good thing I had two packs.
Polamg is thicker and less shiny; after 2 weeks it is sticking well except where I wrapped it around the corner of the couch. When wrapping around a corner you will probably want/need to use the pins provided (which my wife did not allow in our furniture).
Eosarcu is thinner and shinier; thinner allows it to stick better when going around a corner but the shininess made the sheets a little more obvious on the furniture. After 2 weeks it is also still sticking well including around the corners.
On the plus side either looks better than the streams of lint roller 'sheets' that we were using.
After 2 weeks both brands peel off without leaving a residue.
Pictures are: Our unsuccessful use of lint roller 'sheets'; 6 sheets of reviewed productrs across back of couch (4 Eosacru, 2 Polamg); Three photos from product description showing their product on what must be an awkwardly small piece of furniture.

Since placing them on, the cats has not tried to scratch those areas even once!! Not sure why exactly.
Is it the shiny smooth surface?
Is it the reflection they can see in its shininess?
Is it magic??
I don't know, and I don't care. It works and that's all that matters.
One thing I am concerned about is if the sticky stuff will do damage to the furniture after I remove them eventually. The adhesive seems very strong so I'm just hoping it doesn't pull off fabric when I remove them.
This peels off pretty easily (after just a week I can see it coming off). I will probably have to replace pretty soon. It's not very thick but it does apply decently well. Overall, I don't think I'd buy this brand again.
I was very happy with how easy the plastic can be removed from the paper backing- no frustration there! Application is easy enough. Nice that there are two sizes, so you can really fit these on any side of your furniture.
I was then a bit disappointed, after my young removed one, and the residue it left behind.
I was contacted by the manufacturer with instructions about how to remove the adhesion with warm water.
Overall- very pleased with the item, because the seller seems genuinely in tune with its customers and their satisfaction. That is a pleasant surprise
I have a teenaged cat that’s starting to flex his claws so I need to protect my furniture before he rips it to shreds. This plastic furniture protectant is very easy to use. I selected the size that I needed, peeled off the corners and just pulled it down over the corners of the couch. It’s very sticky and even stuck really well after I took it off a few times and reapplied it. I haven’t seen my cat scratching at the couch since I put it on. My only wish is that the pieces were sized a little bit bigger but other than that it works great. It even came with a small bag of cat stickers!
The cats haven't scratched at the futon since applying these. They are very easy to apply and haven't fallen off yet.
