The cushions are not thick, but of course the unit is inexpensive. I ended up placing an elcheapo exercise-matt under the seats for more comfort. Mine did sort-of bend/twist because a person over 200 LBS sat on it, but really that's not much weight. It is contemporary. It is NOT a large couch or cushiony-couch -- it's more of an "office" design.
This sofa is very very small..like for a toddlers room
The worst quality ever! Came in dirty and you can’t even wash it off!! Super small and very uncomfortable! Do not buy it, it is a spam. I recommend you to not waist your money! Buy a couch for the same money but a comfortable one and long lasting.
