Bottom line - I don't regret the purchase but if I got a re-do I'd pick a different set. We spent $85 on this.
Detailed Review - This product had a great concept but the design execution failed. Putting together furniture that doesn't require any tools or nuts/bolts sounds great but it's not in this case. Each piece has these plastic prongs that are supposed to snap into each other but it doesn't line up. Like other reviewers I had problems with the third step (see pics); only 2 of the prongs clicked in and the others overlapped. Correcting that issue caused the piece to break. (See pics) The pieces also don't snap together flush so you can easily see the separation of the parts. The table is good though - no complaints with that piece.
Honestly, I was concerned about this purchase after reading reviews and seeing pictures. Very nice looking set for the price! Looks great on my balcony. Pretty intuitive design. No tools needed. While the 2 legs slide into the chair, the two other pieces are a bit challenging because of the tight fit and rigidity of the plastic. Advice: Switch step 2 and 3 and flex the 3rd piece a bit bringing in the ends especially to make a bit more flexible. When I put the bottom piece (3) in before the back (2), I heard the click when I pressed the back down onto the bottom support and it was an easier slide. As for the packaging issue from 2017 reviews causing broken pieces, I had no issue with that and found the pieces to be well packed and padded with side guards. Only reason did not give 5-stars is because of directions and difficulty in fitting pieces together for the advised “click”.
Wanted something low profile and modern for our condo balcony and these are perfect. They literally snapped together in about 10 minutes. So comfortable. I added chair pads I already had and an ottoman I got here on Amazon. Not using the matching table, but still a great deal!
I stayed on the phone trying to call the company about the missing parts and broken table but after 7 minutes of being on hold and being told someone would be right with me I finally hung up. The chairs are nice for the money although four of the bumpers are missing off the chair legs and only one of table legs stays in. I’ll update this review once I speak with someone from the company about rectifying the issues I have. I do really like the chairs and the table and will probably order one or two more sets if the previous mentioned issues are resolved.
We reach customer service and told him the problem and what was missing and they said they would send out the missing parts. It’s been three weeks and they have not honored their word thus an updated one star rating.
Living in Oregon, it rains a lot. So I wanted a rust proof and waterproof set that wouldn't break the bank. I'm happy with this. It's strong, quality materials, yet lightweight. Nice color. Looks good, and is comfortable. And the price can't be beat. Pretty easy to put together, but I did have and issue with one of the chairs not fitting together exactly right at the chair seam (you can see in the second to the last photo. Last photo shows how it should fit together), which is why I docked one star. Otherwise I'm happy and like the fact that I don't need to move outdoor furniture every time it rains.
What can I say, this is just some cheap plastic furniture that gets the job done. It's attractive enough and looks like it might be durable.
Some have complained that the furniture doesn't actually click together. In my case, it all did, but with SIGNIFICANT elbow grease. There was clearly a lot of variability between the two versions of each piece. The only complicated step is the last part of the chair, the round around back...the instructions are confusing, but think it through and it should snap alright.
Scale can be tricky with furniture on the internet. The chairs sit very low compared to what you might thing, but don't seem overtly small and are comfortable for me, a full-size adult man. They also feel reasonably sturdy, moreso than many folding chairs.
The table is not as nice as the chairs. It has a smooth plastic top to provide a flat table surface, but it's too thin to be truly flat or sturdy. It would have been nice if it was just more fake rattan, as it's very visibly cheap.
I would not have been happy paying the MSRP of $140 for this -- you can get much nicer plastic chairs for that -- but at the $70 I paid, it was more than you could ask for.
Amazing quality especially for the price. Looks great on my 10ft x 10ft patio. The table is a little cheap looking but the chairs are perfect. Good sitting position. I added a cushion from target for extra comfort but I don't necessary love the look of them onthe chair. Definitely recommended
After seeing very mixed reviews for these chairs, we were reluctant to buy. However, they were easy to assemble and have held up well for several months now in the blistering South Florida sunshine, rain and relentless heat. They are plastic, but quite comfortable and a small pillow will help anyone with lower back issues. They look good, were a great value, and neighbors who have the same sets for much longer say they hold up well.
Lovely and very comfortable. One part a bit of a fiddle to get in but once together they are very sturdy and weighty enough not to blow away in a strongish wind.
Bought for my Son for his balcony. Easy to put together and very comfortable to sit on. The price was much less than in other shops and ebay, so very pleased!
arrived quickly, very sturdy and easy to assemble.
Excellent value for money.
Excellent product. Kids and adults love them. They look good and seem well built and sturdy. I can see how people find it a little difficult to assemble. What I did to overcome that is to NOT push the back of the chair all the way down at step 2, installed the little bottom piece at step 3 and then come back and push the back of the chair all the way down until it clicks. Simple as that. Didn't break a thing.
