After having used a few other models, I can say that this unit is PERFECT for cooking and baking needs! The last one I’ve had was Greater Goods scale with over 21.5 k reviews, and it broke after 4 times using it. I’ve changed batteries, but same problem occurred, it just turns off when I place food for weighing. Maybe faulty item, but it did look and feel cheap, was fully made out of plastic. And was not as accurate with lower weights as Nicewell.

What makes Nicewell different:
- it has visibly bigger and wider weighing platform, and is able to accommodate measuring larger bowls;
- it is also waterproof, makes adding in wet ingredients and clean-up absolutely effortless;
- comes with two AAA batteries;
- gives accurate readings;
- very responsive, and whether I’m adding or removing items, it reads the weight within a few seconds;
- large digital display has a blue backlight for easy reading;
- durable tempered glass platform;
- lightweight, compact , and doesn’t take up much space in the drawer;
- four rubber feet help to keep it stable;
- awesome design!

It is an appealing food scale and I haven’t faced any issues with the maintenance part either. I’ve been using this scale for more than a week, but I must say the quality of this product is incredibly top-notch and its reasonable price-wise. I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

Perfect for the kitchen or eBay. This scale’s bright blue numbers are easy to read and the look of the scale is sleek. The shiny white face reminds me of an Apple product. I have a smaller scale perfect for coffee measuring that will read to an accuracy of .10 gram. This one is equally impressive for a larger capacity scale, reading to .10 ounce. It’s the size of an iPad yet is thin and easy to store. It accurately reads up to 22 pounds. It’s so good that if I decide to go on a diet, I just might hop on for a ride! It’s a “HIGH FIVE RATING!”

I bought this scale because I would like to track how much food I consume (and their calories as well). The scale looks sleek and the design is simple but useful. I can easily change the units on the scale so that when I record the weight, I can find the unit that better suits the serving information on the food packages. This scale can weight very light food such as nuts so that I won't miss tracking any food that I want to. It also can be very easily cleaned.

I purchased this scale on Amazon Prime because my daughter borrowed my digital scale for her newly formed business which she has to weigh small items before sending out. I decided to let her have my old one and buy a new one. I did a lot of research on Amazon and on Google searching for a nice modern looking scale to measure some food items that I pack to give away. The scale has a TARE button which resets the scale to zero weight with your container on top so it does not count the container weight. If you want to weight a pound of only the strawberries and you also have a container to put it in. You first just put the empty container the scale and press the TARE button which will reset the scale to zero. If you remove the container you will see a negative number which is the weight of the container itself so leave the container in the scale. Then add in your strawberries until you reach 1 pound or your desired weight. This scale has a UNIT button which you can press to change the wight type to g, kg, or lbs.oz, fl oz, and ml to weight just about anything. From lightweight to heavy items. Just make sure to press the UNIT to what type of weight readout you are looking for. I mostly just use the lbs. oz to weigh my items. The ON OFF button is self explanatory. I read some negative reviews about the scale showing a negative number, it’s because the TARE button was pressed and reset to zero out the scale with an object being on and then removed. The negative number is actually the weight of the container or item that was previously on and you just removed. This is a normal feature for digital scales and this one works perfectly. If you have any questions, you should contact the seller as they are more than helpful to answer your questions. The scale also includes a set of AAA batteries which I prefer to use my rechargeable ones due to the standard or alkaline type batteries also leaks acid when left alone and used for a while. The top of the scale has a glass plate which makes this easy to clean and wipe any mess off with a paper tower. This scale also came with a bonus soft pillow to put between your legs when you sleep. Might be good for people with back pains or sleeping problems. Now back to the scale....the cost is about $26 or so and may be slightly higher or less than similar models on Amazon or other sites. Once I open the box, I had a good feeling this scale will be well made from the weight and design thought put into the scale. The best feature I like about this scale is size and the amount of weight it can hold. I think it something in the area of 22lbs or so which I will probably not go that high unless I weigh a huge watermelon. Overall, if you are thinking of just starting to search for a reliable, well built scale that has the look of something you will cherish, don’t hesitate to purchase this model. It’s built like a nice iPhone with a quality glass top. You will know what I’m talking about once you try it out. Very very simple to use and works as described. I am now thinking of getting some of these for Christmas or birthday gifts. It’s a scale that you will keep a very long time and enjoy the great looks as well. I purchased the white color model and very happy with my purchase. Their customer service is also very welcoming and I can say only positive things about them trying hard to please. This is my honest opinion and I paid for this item on Amazon Prime. Amazon shipping was fast as usual even during the Covid-19 pandemic. I rate this scale as 5 STARS and a Excellent BUY!!!!! You will love it once you use it.

Great scale - it performs the basic functions I needed in a kitchen scale (mainly for baking and dieting). It came with the added benefits of holding up to 22lbs (my last scale did not so it’s nice to be able to use anything in my kitchen to measure stuff into/on to) and has even more units of measurement. Great scale. The on/off is better than my last scale also. This one actually stays off after you hit ‘off’.

Been doing a lot of baking during quarantine and many recipes I've been using used grams as a measurement, so it was a hassle to convert each ingredient every time.
