I thought this would be a very good product. The assembly was relatively easy but when I was tightening one of the legs, the base fro that came of from the wood underneath and I had to drill three other areas to be able to fix it.
This product is VERY uncomfortable. It feels like sitting on wood. Don't get fool by what you see on the photos. The back position does not lock. I have to try many many times each time I want to tilt it in the middle position. It is a game of try and error till in one of the attempts it gets locked in the middle position. The first time I almost broke my head since it did not lock in the position it was supposed to. Actually I am going to throw it away since nobody wants it because of complete lack of comfort. Actually I am going to call city garbage truck to come and take it. I would give this only on star just because it has nice look. Don't waste your money on this and I assume I cannot thrust Best Choice Products and will never buy anything from them. If anyone would like to have more information I would be happy to provide you with my cell number. Thank you.
It's a decent futon. At the price, there are much more comfortable options. The function of it as a straight up couch and chair or as a bed are great. Do not expect any of the other mentioned positions to work. It is either clicked upright or clicked down. That's ok by me, because it would not be remotely comfortable clicked to recline. Assembly was beyond easy, just read the tag that says the pieces are inside the couch. It seems durable and easy to clean. As a daily sofa, if you're in college, it's excellent. I have it in my home bar for occasional use and maybe that one friend that should sleep it off. We're looking at you Ted.
I will say, after the purchase, I saw it sold by each piece for less. If you're really on a budget, do a search. If not, this works fine for occassional use.
As for the quality, you get what you pay for. Decent enough I guess, and it's super easy to assemble... But the couch is very small. Maybe a good size for a kids room, but it would look funny in a living room. Also, yes it's possible to sleep on it, but it's VERY uncomfortable. All in all, if I hadn't already assembled it, I would probably returned it.
What I loved about this couch set is that it was easy to set up, my 8 year old son helped me set it up. It looks great in their game room.
Theres rips in a brandnew couch
Furniture is decent and very easy to assemble. Not sure how long it will last as it is not the highest quality and a leg has already broken off of the footstool. New holes will need to be drilled to be usable again.
I really like this set... great for my small living room. My company and I have slept on it many times. It's a little hard when sitting or sleeping on. but makes a nice size bed to sleep on. The 3 pieces are very lite to move around, no problem to clean under as well it washes up nice and eases. I would say made well and it's holding up with no problems with 3 small children and a small dog jumping and playing on them. I do think that they are worth the money. They came in 3 boxes and I was able to lift them and put them together without institutions in about 10 minutes. I would buy the set again.
This product broke about 90 days into use, which falls outside the 60 warranty they provide. The legs screw into a plywood section of the couch, and ours snapped one day as I was sitting on it. Save your $300 and go buy a couch at Ikea.
