I was a bit hesitant to purchase this one because unlike the other Amazon-branded Rivet sofas this one had very few reviews as of November 2019. I knew I wanted something leather and looked around for a few weeks at various vendors - Wayfair, Article, Joybird, CB2, West Elm, Macys and others. With all of them you have a couple of different options both at this price point (1.1/1.2k) and with various stylings (one full cushion, two separate cushions, separate side cushions vs built-in, etc).

I ended up going with this one from Amazon based on the good reviews of the other Rivet sofas Amazon offers. The 30 day return was long enough for me to know if I really didn't like it and the one year warranty is slightly disappointing but matches the warranty for the other sofas in the Rivet line.

The delivery was accurate and it was delivered in the scheduled window. It should be noted that delivery is free while most other places charge $100+ to deliver it to a room of your choice. The leather is a bit firm, but seems like it will soften over time. The bottom and back cushions are not fully covered (see photos), but the small side ones are. The bottom cushion is held in place via velcro strip which looks to hold it pretty well with no slipping.

The sofa is comfortable to sit in with the one concern that the bottom cushions feel like they may flatten over time. While concerning, if this did become an issue you can unzip the cushions and replace the padding inside.

Overall a solid sofa.

I do not think there are many sofas that can compete with this one at this price range. Certainly none with down* cushions. It is, ergonomically, very suitable to sitting unlike the Lauren from Stone and Beam, another Amazon brand, which seemed to encourage slumping. I ordered both, and returned the Lauren because I thought this was a better deal. The Lauren did certainly have much more padding on the cushions, but this along with the lower sit height made it very difficult to actually sit upright on the couch. As well, the arm rests were too high to comfortably rest an elbow on, almost like a Camaro's window sill.

Notably, the bottom cushions on the Rivet Brooker do have a high density foam layer underneath the down/feathers. I see this mostly as a cost cutting measure, but I do concede also that it may have been difficult to get a firm cushion that supports a sitting body with a fully down filled cushion. I will repeat the firm part of that. It is a firm couch. I rather like that feature though. As someone who is tired of sinking into cheap couches and my legs going numb from resting on the frame, I will take a firm couch any day of the week.

The fabric is quite rough, but it has softened to the touch significantly after several weeks of use. The covers for the cushions (not the frame) are removable, by the way, but the bottom cushion's buttons are sewn through the cushion and tied around a piece of plastic on the bottom. If you want to pull them off, you'd have to untie that, which is annoying. But you could probably soften up the fabric with a wash cycle with a lot of agitation, if the fabric is too rough for you and you don't want to wait for it to soften on its own. For me, I'm just happy it will be durable enough to stand up to my toddler and cat.

Installation of the legs is easy, but I would recommend using a power tool or at least a socket driver with an extension, because these screws are long and annoying to install with the hex key that is supplied. The legs and supplied hardware are hidden in a zippered compartment on the bottom of the couch, which also seems like a great place to hide contraband. I did have one corner that had two holes drilled about 1/4" off from where they should've been, but I was still able to screw that one in by starting each screw while the leg was as far away as possible and slowly tightening each screw in a circular pattern until the leg was firmly attached and flush. The center support is simply hand tightened with a single bolt. The legs are very pretty, solid wood, with pre-installed non-marking caps installed on the bottom. Once installed, the couch feels very solid and sturdy.

Final point of comparison between the Lauren and the Brooker is that the Brooker is much more space efficient, with thinner arms, and also about 7" shallower. My wife, 5'4", could not comfortably lay with her back against the rear cushion on the Lauren because the couch was so deep front to back. No such problem in the Brooker, and it takes up much less of our living room as well. Notably, the Brooker also benefits from being higher off the ground, so it is definitely possible to get some thin plastic totes that are sold for underbed storage and use them underneath this sofa.

If you are someone who loves to sink into your couch, this is not for you. Get the Lauren. If you like the idea of a couch that is comfortable to sit and have conversations on, looks good in your living room, will last for the foreseeable future, and is a great deal, get this one. I would suggest using a price tracker to purchase this though, as it has some wild fluctuations in price, and Amazon will NOT adjust your price post-purchase without you actually returning the couch and ordering a new one. Looking at the price history, if you purchase at a high point, you can easily spend almost twice the price compared to waiting a few weeks for the price to drop. I do wish that Amazon would stop this practice of constantly manipulating prices, but since my review is for this product and not Amazon, 5 stars it is.
Beautiful addition to our coaching room. Being top grain leather, the sofa is hard to the touch vs a soft leather, but very comfortable with the down filling. Very happy with this purchase!
Very happy with this amazon brand couch. Had a slight problem with the black material underneath but amazon quickly made it ok. Cats have been trying their best to scratch it but it's been holding up well. A good size, a cool retro look, and comfortable. And when comparing to other brands, you can't beat the free shipping.
I chose this sofa because of the good reviews of the Rivet brand. I bought this in the grey fabric as I would frankly never buy a leather sofa unseen. It is a loveseat and the size I expected, which is small. This is not my every day sofa but for a small office/den. For loss of star see below.

Fabric - about what I expected. Not super soft but clearly durable. Decent for pet owners.

Sit- the down filling is very dense and on the firmer side but not completely uncomfortable. It does not flatten like a down down pillow due to the density. I'm 5'-8" and while I can't lay flat, I'm comfortable with my knees bent.
SH - 18" not too low or high
SD- 23" deep but not the loungiest, also has a slight overbite in the front but I didn't mind.

Arrival- (2) day prime delivery as expected during my choice time. (3) hour window wasn't terrible, and came right in the middle. When it didn't fit though the door they not only took it out of the box but also upstairs to the room of choice. Not professional movers but rather young 20 somethings, so make a judgment call yourself. They took the box away as well.

Assembly- Easy for one handy person (female). Legs were hidden in zipper compartment on bottom.

Quality - Somewhere between Wayfair and West Elm. Would have been better @ $650 vs $768 but the included shipping with room of choice in (2) days tips the scales. Only loss of star is due to the fact all (4) seat buttons are loose and will break. That's not a if, it's a when. I will be contacting Amazon to fix. They apparently offer in home service. Otherwise I'll fix it myself. Back buttons had no issue at all.
