I opened this 3 days ago and my daughter hasn't stopped playing with it since. It took forever to put together, like 5 hours, but I also had a toddler rearranging the pieces the whole time. Although time consuming, the instructions did make it very easy to build. It is of great quality and looks like it will last us a long time. The only thing I would change is to make the sink a permanent fixture. It comes out easily and my daughter likes to crawl inside, stand up through the sink hole, and often gets stuck. We may glue ours in. But overall, we love it!

This kitchen has so much detail that its so adorable and so life like!! Hubby put together, due to reading the past reviews of it taking a long time to put together, what we did is place each board in the number order 1-30ish, and made sure we followed the instructions one by one, by remaining calm and having the time, it did take long but the instructions were so descriptive we had no problems putting it together. The quality is great, the shipping was great, and not to mention the price....that too was GREAT!! I recommend this product!! We got it for our home daycare and recommend it for one, or just for fun. Once we were taking the parts out and seeing how detailed it was, it made me wish I was a little girl again. My son loves playing with it and well, I enjoy seeing how much he enjoys it.

This is a very solid toy. But keep in mind, the assembly is much more complex than an IKEA piece of furniture, just for example. It really is built like a piece of furniture, and the assembly was comparable to building the entertainment center that our TV sits on. Everything is solid and serious. I built this on Christmas Eve night, and I started at 11pm and finished at 2:30am. And that was using a power drill with a screwdriver bit which sped things up a lot. This package comes with lots different screws, nuts and bolts, so be careful to keep everything in the packaging as much as possible. I used a utility knife to grab individual screws and bolts as I needed them. When the whole thing was done, I was mostly pleased and impressed, but the refrigerator door was a little bit askew and needs some extra force to open and close. I might sand it a little bit. Overall, very pleased. My kids liked it so much on Christmas morning, we didn't even open all the other presents under the tree that day. Great success. This thing is built to last and will be fun to hand off to another family when my kids outgrow it.

Yes, it is easy to put together, but there are a lot of pieces, so it’s does take a while to put together. It took myself about 2 hours.
