Love these! I just loaded up all the old terry cloth version and donating them, these are so much nicer to use and take up almost no space. They clean very well, did not notice any strings after washing and did not shrink much... no funny puckering after washing which was really nice.... that would have drove me nuts to be honest.

Even though I am not careful at all with stains... considering these are just dish clothes of course and that is their purpose... I have not noticed substantial discoloration. They do stain somewhat of course with active use, but most of the stain does wash cleanly out and the bit left I consider character stains of a well used and happy kitchen.

So glad I bought these... will never go back to terry.

Please click below if I was at all helpful.... thank you and good luck to you! Enjoy them

Paper towels are almost as hard to get your hands on as toilet paper right now so I bought these to supplement my cloth kitchen towels. I'm lazy and don't do the laundry as much as I should so I usually end up with a pile of dirty kitchen towels and no clean ones, causing us to resort too much on paper towels. And I'm not an Earth-mama hippie or anything, but using less paper is always good.

I have no complaints with these towels. Like I said, I'm not trying to embroider or transform these in anyway, just drying my dishes and hands. I think absorbency is fine and I've only given them one whirl in the washer and dryer (again, lazy) but so far they are holding up just fine. I would buy again, no question.
In an absolute sense, are these THE most absorbent, durable, highest quality kitchen towels? No. But do they get the job done for an unbelievably affordable product? For sure.

I use these to constantly clean my countertops, dry dishes, cover my dough, etc., sometimes using up to 3-4 in a day. They are surprisingly absorbent (gets rid of a half cup of water spill) and are the perfect size.

I just can’t say enough good things about them mainly because of their VALUE.

Unless you have a very specific concern or intended use that might require extra absorbency/whatever, these should be good enough for anyone as general kitchen towels.
The Amazon Marketplace is so incredibly vast that it's sometimes difficult to find things that you're looking for unless you know them by name or you stumble upon them. I stumbled upon these towels when looking for other kitchen necessities. Because I spend a lot of time in my own kitchen I go through a lot of paper towels. A lot. These very absorbent and lint free kitchen towels are an economical alternative for wiping counters and drying pots, pans and dishes - or as a quick trivet. In my early years in the restaurant industry this is exactly what we used. I suggest that you wash these before using to get the full effect of the absorbency aspects of this towel.
These lovely towels are durable, have a nice tight weave, and hold up with lots of use. I highly recommend these! One thing I use them for is covering my Kombucha jars (rubber band them over the tops), because they allow the brew to "breathe," but don't let fruit flies in.
I am surprised at the reviews that say these are absorbent. I got these towels because they were lint free AND absorbent, and I thought they'd be a great multi-purpose kitchen towel. These towels don't absorb anything. Liquid actually beads up on the surface. I do not use fabric softeners, only bleach and regular detergent when I wash them with whites. And despite using bleach, these towels never come clean for me. I don't know what the problem is, but these towels are useless for absorbing. We keep them around to cover things, lay things out to dry, etc. But I would advise getting fluffier terry cloth towels or something similar for drying your hands and for cleaning.
I am DISGUSTED with these towels. First off, I counted them as I put them in the washer, there were only 14 rags. The product page says 15. So I recounted again to make sure I hadn’t missed one. Nope. 14 rags. I’m like meh, and washed them. They did not wash up well. Obviously sewn by children in a foreign country. The fabric is poor quality, it pilled up after one wash, it’s not even bright white. They are sewn crooked and some of them the blue stripe isn’t even exactly down the middle. These go in the rag bag to clean the bathroom with. Awful. Steer clear.
I love how classic these towels look and how well they work :) They come starchy because they are new but after one use they're soft. They are a great buy for the quality. I'm getting more
