Pulled these out of the box and put an item around 200 lbs on four of them on a smooth wood floor. One of the casters broke almost immediately. Very cheaply made and certainly wouldn't handle something as heavy as a piano or other large furniture.
Like the other reviewers stated the weight that these can handle isn’t correct. Also they won’t move on any carpet. Not even flat commercial. Perhaps if the item you’re moving is light weight. Of course if it was light you could probably just move it yourself without wheels. I just wanted to be able to roll my coffee table out of the way. I had ankle surgery and had to use a walker. I thought if I could easily push the coffee table away then I could still use it. Nope. The wheels would tip out the coffee table. We tried to attach them and still no luck. I could move a couple inches on the carpet then it would stop on the carpet and tip it off. It felt like it was durable. The wheels should be metal. All in all didn’t work for my 50lb coffee table. Returned
The product I received was wrapped in a single bubble wrap package and then a plain white bag. The product looked like it had been used (scratched, nicks, finish rubbed off). The item received looks nothing like the picture of the product (from a quality/finish standpoint). One of the rubber bumpers wasn't even on one of the units and they certainly don't look anything like what is in the picture on the listing. This is one of the more disappointing Amazon purchases. They will be returned.
In general this product was exactly what I was looking for to move my pool table 15 ft. Unfortunately the wheels collapsed as I was moving the table on tile floors. The plastic wheels cannot sustain the weight as advertised. I returned them and will look for something with hard rubber wheels instead of plastic.
I ordered these because of a dimenstin constraint. I normally order Move-It tri-wheel dollies.
The metal just looked inferior to my naked eye. I could see these succumbing to metal fatigue easily.
I changed my project dimensions, sent these back and ordered another set of my favorite standbys that I have used many, many times.
These are actual junk. It was easier to move the dresser without these, than it was to move the dressers even 6” on them. They didn’t work on tile, flat hardwood, or carpet.
Please buy something else.
These casters are useless unless you are moving something on a VERY even surface. Even then they will slip out of the holding cup. I could have run screws from the casters up into the legs of the furniture but that’s an idea I’m not too fond of, and trying to do that on a heavy piece of furniture would be curse inducing. I tried them on a desk and table that I’m refinishing and they fell out so many times that I ended up moving them myself.
We used them to try and move couches. They are strong enough to hold the couches up, but do not move well at all. We placed them under the feet and they would just fall off anytime at tried to move them. Also they don't roll at all. We tried hard wood flooring, carpeting.... neither works.
These do the job but they have limitations. I moved a very large cabin bed/wardrobe/desk combined on them over carpet tiles using a pallet breaker/lever bar to lift the bed.
If you try to sit the furniture on the rubber pads the whole thing tips sideways, you need to drop the furniture into the low centre channel to keep the castors on the ground.
As you push/move the furniture the tiny wheels don't like going over bumps so you will need a lever bar just to take a bit of weight off the castor in question and it will happily pop over the bump.
They swivel quite nicely but as you have to sit the furniture down into that central channel between the castors you can't push things flush up against skirting etc so you will need to hoof the last bit over with the bar hence why I recommend the pallet wrecking bar as it takes all the effort out of it.
Overall, not bad. Can make 2/3/4 man lifts into a single person job as well as not damaging floors etc. Saves a lot of effort and your back
As soon as these hit so much as a hair on an uneven floor they jump /spin off the unit being moved. Not practical. Only good for gently rotating an item to paint, for example. Wish I'd bought something else. I'm going to have to adapt them
Moved 2 couches from one room to another approx 4 metres. Nice and easy but one wheel fell off on the return journey.
Just brilliant
Excellent product moved all my heavy bedroom furniture with ease
