Bought them to replace old covers.
First thing I noticed was the material. It feels water resistant, like a wind breaker jacket but also very flexible and light weight. Old covers were more like a pair of kackis with a water proof backing; very heavy and stayed wet causing mold to develop.
Second was the fit. The length was perfect. Old covers were 4 inches to long and bunched at the bottom allowing water to collect and mold.
Lastly, the old covers didn't make it through the winter. Summer sun baked them, then the winter ice froze them to the point of tearing. They became brizzle and hard; small icesickles just punched right through them like newspaper. As for these new ones, we'll see how the weather treats them. I will update this review in the coming months.
I was skeptical of buying these at first, thinking they would be a thin waxy woven material, but I'm glad I ordered these. They are of excellent quality, good heavy weight durable fabric material as described and they fit my chairs very well. While not 100% waterproof, if the water is allowed to sit on them for periods of time, ours are in a gazebo and as long as you keep the covers on properly where they slant and do not allow pooling, the water runs right off and they keep the pollen, dust and other debris that blows around off the furniture. They have vents in the back and breath so no moisture builds up inside and they go on/off and fold easily into very compact square folds, we store them in a side table storage area. I'm very happy with these and highly recommend them. The quality is excellent for the price.
Far better quality than I expected & generously sized. We have over-sized wicker rocker-type outdoor chairs that measure 35 x 34 x 34 on the tag (40x36x36 when I measured) & but these fit beautifully, all the way down to the base, easily covering both arms. And they're easy on/off (necessary for me b/c I'm lazy & I wouldn't use if it was a hassle). Velcro (vs. toggle/bungee) tabs great, too. We looked at several home & patio stores here, but these weren't just the best price, but the best quality/fit, too.
I purchased these SunPatio Outdoor Chair Covers in July of 2019. I used my patio sparingly throughout the rest of the year. During the winter season, my patio chairs were covered all the time. I started using my patio seats during the spring and began to notice the material becoming brittle. Needless to say, every time I uncovered and covered my chairs, there would be an extra little tear. It was quite disappointing because I really didn't get to enjoy them and I had to be careful not to tear them even more.
Then COVID happened and I completely forgot about my chair covers.
I was available to contact the seller in August 2020 to ask about a warranty. The seller was quick to respond and did notify me that indeed there was a 12-month warranty. But, unfortunately for me, I had called too late and there was nothing they could do for me.
I wish this item had the warranty information in its description.
I will not be purchasing these chair covers again, but I will say they lasted me 9 months.
I purchased 6 of these based on the reviews. The reviewers were right. The quality is excellent. The fabric & seams feel sturdy. Like the vent in back to keep some air circulation. Fits our high back chairs with plenty of room. An inch or 2 shorter would have been perfect, but it works. We have round swivel bases on all the chairs and were worried we'd have to come with some clever way to tie them down, but the Velcro straps worked ok. We plan on using these in the winter so we don't have to carry the chairs up 3 stairs to our back porch. Will not know how sturdy they are until they make it thru a winter. Fortunately we live in California and winters aren't too bad. We do get strong winds at times and have lost several gazebo canopies. Hopefully these will stay put. But so far very impressed.
The description of these covers show a straight back chair, 4 legs. But measurements were close to my swivel patio chairs. They fit great! The only thing I’m slightly worried about is when it snows. Pressure of snowfall may put stress on cover front
