This sofa came in two large boxes. The shipping was confusing, since FedEx showed it as completely delivered when all I had was the ottoman. But communication from the company was good and the other piece came within the expected window.
The instructions were a bit vague (clearly translated into English, not written in English.) We have vast experience assembling furniture, so we were able to figure it out. If you struggle with these kinds of projects, maybe reconsider? Two of the pre-drilled holes didn't line up exactly, so it took a little custom work to get them to go together.
All that said, we put it together in under an hour. It is sturdy enough, does not look or feel like a put-together sofa. It fits perfectly in my very small space and still let's me stretch out to relax. This was exactly what I was looking for...a small, confortable sofa that didn't cost a fortune.
