Initially, I really liked the fit, color and feel. But as fall moved in, they would blow off the chairs easily. The drawstrings deteriorated quickly compounding the problem. After a few months in the sun, the material became weak and the fabric began to tear at the corners of the furniture. The pictured covers are exactly one year old. They just don't hold up. They were torn after 5 months. I tried an adhesive patch but it didn't take. I can give them 2 stars because if you have furniture that is protected from wind and sun, these would work fine as a nice dust cover. If your furniture is fully exposed, keep looking.

I was attracted to this line because of the high ratings and reasonable cost. As a result, I had almost my entire patio covered with Classic Veranda covers- perhaps five pieces total.

Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that the Veranda product line has NO UV coating. As a result, the material gets compromised and brittle from exposure to the California sun. It then starts to prematurely tear in as little as a year. Frustrating. I will say that Classic Accessories has been good about replacing the covers, one by one, under warranty. The downside is that there are some hoops that frankly, I just got tired of jumping through knowing that there is only another inferior cover on the other side.

At this point, I'm done making warranty claims. It's simply not worth my time. I have switched over to Classic's upgraded Ravenna line, which does have UV coating. At this point, my oldest Ravenna piece is almost a year old and going strong. I only have one more Veranda piece left, and I'm sure it will fail soon.
I liked it but when I tried to order 1 more for my other chair it would not allow me to purchase another. It said only 1 was allowed to be bought by a customer. So I guess I will spend my money with someone else.
I am obsessive about covering my upholstered patio furniture when I'm not using it to protect it from rain, random debris, and bird poop. I have one of these for my chaise lounge and now for a new patio chair. My first lounge cover finally started to fall apart after about two years, but I'm satisfied that I got my money's worth out of it, and I bought another of this brand. These are attractive covers and very functional. They have strategically placed handles so you can easily take them on or off the furniture. They feature a couple of straps that buckle around the legs of the furniture so the cover stays on even in the highest wind. The covers do show a certain amount of mildew over time, and that's not particularly attractive, but if you're having company, you would be removing the covers anyway. They offer excellent protection from the elements, although if a puddle is allowed to accumulate and stay in place on the cover, some moisture will seep through. I make it a point to pull the cover tight so it's angled, meaning the water runs off and doesn't collect on it. I keep buying these covers, because they do a good job and come in a variety of useful sizes. Definitely recommended!
These seem decent quality for the price, but the photo clearly shows a form fitted cover for a chair. Low in the front, high in the back, as it should be for a chair. Actual product is uniform height all around. so if you put it over a square table, all sides would touch the ground evenly. So it covers my chairs yea, just sloppy and will collect water on the top. Nice handles on the sides.
These are great! We bought two for our patio chairs and they survived the winter in Ohio. We left the cushions underneath and they kept the moisture out. Nothing smells mildewy, the covers seem to repel water and dry quickly. They didn't crack in the cold, and they hang on despite high winds. There are a few rips on the bottom seams where I imagine they blew some and rubbed against the patio, leaving the small holes. But, it's not going to impact its function. I will say they don't form-fit the chairs like the images shows, but if you can get past that, they're great for protecting furniture.
I'm duplicating this for three different purchases-chairs, sofa, and table. Here's the thing. We bought these to protect the chairs, sofa, and mostly the fabric cushions. After a couple of big rainstorms, we've discovered that in the wind, these become big sails and cause the lightweight furniture to blow around. One chair travelled a good 50 feet and barely stopped short of blowing into the swimming pool. One other cover blew off, and the (white) seat cushion turned up in a flower bed across the yard. In the end, we got storage boxes for the cushions, put the covers in the attic, and the bare chairs, sofa, and table are open enough that the wind blows through them. If/when the chairs get dirty, we'll just hose them off. The covers are not worth the trouble - for us, anyway. As I said, very nice, high quality, heavy duty covers. We just don't need them.
I absolutely LOVE these patio lounge covers. I can't believe that I got them for so cheap! Usually, when you find something inexpensive, "you get what you pay for." With these covers, they could easily go for 4 times as much as what they're charging. These are thick, high quality, well sewn, covers that are easy to take on and off your patio furniture. I live in the Pacific Northwest. We get a lot of rain, and these things are absolutely brilliant. I am so impressed, and so surprised at how inexpensive they were, for the quality I received.
