It came packaged very well, but nothing was labeled once opened, so it would say "take the two E panels" but not one item had a tag or label. My husband does wood working as a hobby, otherwise I would never have been able to put this together. And I'm the person that friends invite over when they buy from Ikea b/c I'm pretty fast at figuring out how to assemble something and have loads of patience. For this bed, I just stared at the pieces on the floor and the pictures in the booklet. The wooden dowels were also all loose. My husband ended up adding a lot of his own screws for extra reinforcement. Also something to note: there is nothing that stops the trundle on the inside, so we had to make a wooden panel and drill that into the bed just past the little door as like a stopper. Otherwise you go to push trundle bed in and it keeps going and then you have to lay on the ground to reach the handles to pull it back to being flush with the bed. Our daughter loves it and feels really special having such a grand bed, so ultimately we're happy, but the set up almost wasn't worth it.

The bed itself went together fairly easily until it came to the drawer. That is where the nightmare began. Screw holes don't align, boards are cut too short, slots won't align. Unless you are a carpenter and are willing to put in the extra work to make things fit, I would stay away from this bed. After putting it together, I added quite a few screws in order to make it as stable as it should have been. I am still worried about the fact that the weight of the enter bed frame is held I. With 4 1 inch screws on the center brace. I fill expect to be building a new frame in less than a year.

Nice bed for the money. The headboard comes already put together as well as the drawer unit. Installing the drawer unit was a bit of a challenge, but the rest of the bed assembly went smoothly.

This bed is very sturdy. However, the description says it assembles in minutes. Actually, it assembles in a whole lot of minutes, like 180 of them. 2 unexperienced people put it together and, thankfully, succeeded. So, overall, I give it 4 stars.

Very poor quality. Broke the first night up. Was a pain in the a** to put together as well. Directions where horrible. Pieces wasn’t numbered like in the directions.
