First of all, the pull down sprayer on a faucet at this price point should NOT be plastic. I have owned many Delta faucets in the past and the quality was far superior to this item.

The second problem is even if you are not using the pull out sprayer, once you shut off the water, the faucet continues to drip. It does stop after about 5-10 seconds, but that is unacceptable. I alway dry the sink basin to avoid water spots and I have to stand there and wait for it to stop dripping. If I dare swing the spout to one side, it will drip some more.

I followed all the instructions including the part where it tells you to run water down into a bucket before you connect the the main water connection to the faucet.

I ordered a different brand and as soon as it arrives, this defective one is going back.

First of all this thing is way bigger than what I thought. It was such an amazing surprise. It's so beautiful...the perfect addition to my kitchen. It was an easy install..and I just bought a brushed nickel plate to fill my one empty hole where my old sprayer was from Lowe's for $4. This does come with a 3 hole plate but I only needed to fill 2 holes. The pressure of the water is amazing, I love the different settings... Best decision I could of made after searching months for the perfect buy that wasn't too expensive. It was back ordered so it did take about 3 weeks to come. But well worth the wait.

This faucet is absolutely beautiful and highly functional.
We wanted a faucet that has good clearance above the sink, had a good pull-out sprayer and was aesthetically pleasing. This faucet excels at all of these and it also has strong pressure.
To the reviewer's who have complained about the hose being plastic I would say that contemporary construction code uses plastic tubing for plumbing in new houses. Plastic is noncorrosive and extremely durable for plumbing. I will update my review if something changes, but three months of heavy use and this faucet has me with zero complaints.

Our kitchen faucet started dripping. Within a week it was more like a trickle. We had to shut the water off under the sink to stop it and that really starts to suck after a while. Hiring a plumber to come out and fix it would cost $150 minimum so we decided to bite the bullet and just get a new cooler kitchen faucet! This is it! It looks awesome and didn't cost much more than fixing the old one. Since we are trapped like rats in our house all the time it seemed like the right time to spruce up the place! What a bargain!

Spent more to get a quality faucet that both functions and looks like a high end faucet and this Delta model was worth every penny. We recently installed granite counter tops with an undermount sink and this faucet really

This faucet is dynamite! In all of my years I have never had a faucet that was anything to rave about but this midline Delta faucet is everything and more than one could possibly expect. It is attractive, effective, responsive, powerful, and dynamic.
The faucet is a matt black which compliments my gold and black countertops adding a touch of class by drawing in, blending and softening the colors and the design which is a unique square squatty look and what one would expect to be an awkward design instead gives a clean, smart kiss of continuity to the kitchen.
The surprise doesn't end in cosmetics either. The faucet is powerful, no dripping to date, and the hose is smooth and again the word responsive, as it seats quickly and well due to the magnetic docking apparatus that seems to embrace the hose rather than the awkward jiggling that often takes place to seat the hose.
We have only had the faucet for a few days so I am unable to speak to the longevity of the faucet but the plumber who installed it was very impressed with everything from soup to nuts about it, especially the function, value, ease of installation, and design related to the modest expense. Who would have thought a funky design and color could give a new look to an old kitchen?
