Seems accurate. Inexpensive and easy to use. Slides a little on the fridge so the magnet is a bit weak. I just use a separate magnet to keep it secure.

This works great. It's a sturdy meat thermometer. Plus has cooking temps on the thermometer too. That's an added bonus. I'd buy this again.

I finally had the opportunity to test this digital food thermometer this evening on a bunch of nice sized steaks and some thick chicken breasts grilled outdoors. And I'm happy with the results.

I've been using an older digital food thermometer that seems to have lost some of its accuracy over time, causing me to overcook meats on the grill for the past several months because it how much it understated the meat temperature. Tonight, problem solves...just as promised on the side of this new thermometer, once the meat reached the temperature indicated, the meat was perfectly cooked. Well done, medium, and rare...just as ordered.

I particularly like the fact that the thermometer turns itself on and off by simply extending the meat problem. Then it's a matter of pushing one button and waiting a few seconds for the reading to clearly show up in the display. The next best thing is the built-in magnet that makes it almost impossible to misplace the thermometer. Just place it somewhere on the grill, and it's always there when you need it.

This is a good product, and I look forward to using it for a long time to come.

This is an instant meat thermometer with folding probe. The probe is 4.25” long. The handle has a 1.5” wide LCD screen for readouts. It has 3 buttons on the front for backlight/C-F, Hold/Calibration, and Min/Max. Also printed on the front are a list of reference temperatures for various meats. The thermometer is powered by a single CR 2450 battery (included). The battery compartment can be accessed with a coin. A magnet is included in the case. Also included in the box is a paper meat temperature reference chart. The thermometer was made in China.

I find this thermometer quite simple to use. Just open it, stick the probe in your meat, and the temperature appears in large print on the screen. That’s a lot easier to read than my old analog thermometer with its interface in tiny print. It’s worth reading through the instruction sheet at least once to learn how to use the dual action buttons. But overall, the thermometer is pretty much just pick and up and use it simple.

I own several instant reads, this one is accurate and easy. Simply pull out the probe to turn it on and stick it in the thickest part of your meat and it instantly reads with a well lit, easy to see display. Close the probe to turn it off. Comes with a spare battery. It works fine, my only complaint is that I keep mine on the side of the range hood and for some reason it likes to fall off, the magnet is not nearly as strong as my other one. I also use the text for reference on what your done temperature should be and the white on red is very hard to see. Other then that I like it.

This is a simple, easy to use thermometer. You can use just the probe on the thermometer to get a steady cooking temperature in your grill or oven. There are many meat thermometers on the market. A lot use your smart phone for alerts or so you can monitor your cooking from a distance. I was looking for something I could take the temperature and know if the meat was done - period. And this is great for doing just that. I would get another one for our RV when we start traveling again. Highly recommended.
