With covid I tend to buy more food on each grocery run so I don't have to go out often so needed a decent vacuum sealer. Major brands are much more expensive and so I got this based on some good reviews and the multiple functions it came with. This unit comes with a digital scale so you can portion your food, extra seal bags (30 assorted bags and 2 rolls), and dual moist/dry mode to use. It's very straightforward to use. You push on the side to unlock/open the unit. Place your bag on the seal to seal one side. Add your food and reverse the other opening and press seal and vac (moist/dry) and your set! All in all, this is a pretty powerful unit. It sealed my meats and dry beans nicely. Only thing you need is to buy extra vacuum rolls (plenty on Amazon).
