The factory slats cause it to b not steady enough but overall I luv the bed and the value it just needs more slats added to b steady and you need a box spring I luvvvv the bed just more additions
It's not bad for the price but not as sturdy as I had hoped. We also had to buy more slats to stabilize the bed and throw away the ones that were furnished. May be good for a guest room but not continuous use. Footboard too low. Our mattress and box spring extend above it.
I initially was very frustrated with this bed due to the lack of a support. Give it time, it comes in multiple boxes so you may have days in between shipments when you have the full bed.
