Bottom line. Here’s the truth about this couch.
1- delivery was flawless
2- color is fantastic. To my eyes and my families eyes it is exactly as pictured. Light soft grey. Matches everything
3- material feels very durable yet soft and comfy
4- the seat cushions are soft and plush with generous give
5- the back cushions are firm. This is obviously by design. They feel like they are designed to break in over time. If they cushions are too soft out of the box they won’t last. This couch feels like smart people made the decisions.
6- I would buy this couch again. I love it
7- I have not been paid or anything of the sort for this review. Just a normal dad

This couch is exactly as pictured. The color is as listed, and the comfort rating in the product description is accurate. I think it's very comfortable.

That said, a note of caution. I didn't pay close enough attention to the DEPTH of the couch. To no fault of the couch, at a whopping 45" deep, it takes up way too much real estate in my studio apartment.

Overall: Highly recommend this couch, but take note of the measurements all around, not just the width.

UPDATE: It has now been a year. I am still totally in love with these chairs. I ended up getting a second chair and the ottoman. The ottoman is HUGE!!!! But it worked out great for our library/sitting area. The chairs have held up wonderfully and get used everyday by people and all the fur monsters. I have also had no problems cleaning them. Moisture seems to bead up long enough to wipe clean. And dirt from dog paws just wipes right off.

Original: I was super nervous about ordering furniture online with out seeing it in person. I did order the swatch beforehand just to make sure.
Delivery - on point! Ordered the chair on a Saturday and it was delivered Wednesday. They brought it to the room I needed it to be in and even unwrapped it for me! So simple and efficient.
The chair is AMAZING!!!! I'm 6ft and can sit crossed legged and still have room. The fabric seems really sturdy and hopefully will withstand my dog and two cats. The cushions are firmer than i realized they would be. But I consider that a bonus and will hopefully stand up to regular use. Overall, im so happy with the purchase and process. I'm even about to order a second one!!!

I’d never heard of Stone & Beam before, so I did a bit of research online but couldn’t find anything about the company outside of Amazon. They offer not only contemporary furniture, but also slip covers, rugs, wall art, and lighting. Their furniture seems to only come in two neutral colors – fawn and slate, resulting in pieces that will fit in with just about any color scheme.

This “46 in overstuffed chair has so far proven to be a solidly built, quality piece of furniture. The chair comes with a seat cushion and a back pillow cushion that have so far retained their shape. In many cases, these separate pieces tent to either settle or bunch within the first month of use. These are usually filled with synthetic cotton material that requires annual restuffing. In this case, the down-filled backing has maintained its overstuffed appearance and remains comfortable. Additionally, the white thread stitching throughout is tight and blends nicely with the fawn color.

We have dogs, cats, and kids – all the ingredients necessary to destroy light-colored furniture in a matter of days. So far the chair has been subjected to wet and/or muddy dog paws, as well as one or two water spills. The fawn colored fabric cleaned quickly with just a rag and water with no residual staining. Past furniture I’ve owned has either retained a water stain or lost some of its color. It could be that I got to these spills quickly, but the fact that it cleaned up as if nothing happened is ever so convenient. We’ll see if that ability lasts for an extended period of time.

The chair itself is around 90 pounds and comes in a big cardboard box that will make an awesome playhouse home for your kids. The chair is wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the fabric, wooden legs, and framing. The box did not fit through the front door, so we had to remove the chair from the box and maneuver it through the much wider patio door. Even then, it was a tight fit, but we got it in place.

The seat cushion is was little stiff at first but has slightly broken in to provide comfortable support. I’m 6’2 and can fit snugly on the chair with my legs crossed. I’ve even fallen asleep in a few times. So it passes the comfort test. I like this so much, that I’m looking into getting the matching sofa.

Stone & Beam is definitely a brand I’m interested in learning more about. They offer a selection of sofas, chairs, ottomans, and artwork that has a bit of contemporary country charm that I really find appealing.

Stone & Beam has a 30 day free return policy. If their furniture doesn’t meet your needs, contact them and they’ll pick it up and refund your money. I’ll update this review as the months go by – time will tell how well this holds up with frequent use. But right now, I love it. If this chair holds up, they’re definitely on my list when I decide to replace other pieces of furniture.

***ONE MONTH UPDATE*** The chair is still holding strong - no sagging, solid framework, and the material is still cleaning up nicely. I'm also impressed that the material does not attract and hold pet hair. It still has to be vacuumed, but the smooth material makes it easy. We have other furniture that just hangs on and doesn't let go - putting the vacuum's pet brush to the test. Overall -- still impressed with it!

It’s bigger than you think. Probably bigger than you’re thinking after I said that. I’m a big dude, and the majority of my body will fit if I lye corner to corner. But when I do - soft and fluffy. The fabric is soft, and resist the staining power of my 2 puppies - good stuff, just make sure you have room!

We just got this today so I will update if any issues come up in the future, but as of now we all LOVE IT! This thing is massive! It's a huge comfortable ottoman in a great neutral color. The fabric is soft and seem durable, my 4 year old already got a smear of something on it and it wiped right off with a baby wipe. It seems to be great quality and delivery was fine, no issues. It actually came several days early ( we opted for porch drop off so that might be why, We didn't schedule a time) Two thumbs way up so far!

Edit: still love it! It’s held up to 2 dogs and 2 kids plus my husband and I always fighting over who gets to sit in the good place on the sofa. It still looks as good as the day we got it. Anything that has gotten on it cleans right off. We seriously love it!

A bit skeptical ordering without trying it out but, I absolutely love this chair. First, it is the perfect color for my formal living room - it's a light-medium grey. I'm a petite woman and I fit in the chair with my 7yo and 2 shi-tzus :-). The chair is medium firm - which I prefer so that it keeps it's shape over time and doesn't turn into a slouchy messy piece of furniture. But very comfortable and is my cozy new reading niche. The packaging was very well done and 2 men delivered to inside my house on the time promised.
