A warning: the backing piece for this cabinet is the KEY to constructing it properly. When I spoke to Sauder Co. over the phone, the rep was so used to this question that she actually was able to give me instruction over the phone. You have to line the top of the backing across the top of the cabinet (in the back), where the pre-drilled holes are for the nails. Nail in the top right corner first, then the bottom right corner, and then work your way across the top again, and then finally, nail in the remainder. If the backing is not installed squarely across the rear of the cabinet, the doors will appear completely off, and will not work/shut properly!

I bought on Sears online because I had a gift card. I love it. I am 5'4" and I am a little taller than it but it is really nice. I attached a picture to show how much taller I am w/o shoes than the cabinet. It is shorter than I thought it would be. Directions are easy and I was able to put it together by myself with a hammer and a screw driver. It is very nice. The color is awesome!

This is a nice cabinet. I think it looks like a higher end piece of furniture. I purchased this to use as a pantry. I came home to the package propped up against my house with the corners of the box ripped open and the box was fairly beat up. UPS did an outstanding job of trying to destroy this package. To my surprise, none of the parts were damaged or missing. Sauder does an excellent job in packaging this. Assembly was fairly easy. Attaching the doors is the difficult part of assembly. I did have a door that did not have any glue. The door would literally pull apart. I went to the Sauder website and emailed their customer service at 11:30 that night. I received an email first thing in the morning. A replacement door was shipped to me that same day at no cost to me. I had the new door within a few days. The door went on fine. You have to adjust the hinges a little.
Please anyone that orders any Sauder products through Amazon, do not send this back if there is a manufacturers defect. Contact the manufacturer first. The door issue is not uncommon. If you do have an issue with any of the parts, contact Sauder. Their customer service is top notch.

I assembled this cabinet last night and it seems very solid and I expect it to hold up well. It will store my extra bedding well.
The instructions were clear and easy to follow and the pieces got together squarely. Most of the assembly I was able to do alone. I got assistance with turning it over, standing it up, and attaching the doors.
I was a bit worried when I ordered because some of the reviews showed doors that hung askew, but the the hinges are very high quality and are very adjustable. I have included images of the actual hinge and the adjustment diagram. I also included an image that showed the shelf layout and the weight limit for each shelf for the information of potential buyers.
There are cams and screw heads visible on the inside the cabinet, but they are not noticable unless you are looking for them.

I love it!! It is perfect for my living room and for all my scrapbook and other craft items. I wanted the cabinet to be a tad darker to match my other furniture so I stained the front shutter panels and it is now my favorite piece!!

Only took me and my daughter about an hour to put together and it is very sturdy and solid!!

Was pretty excited about getting this product as we had guests coming in & needed a quick cabinet.
It came with multiple broken, chipped & otherwise damaged panels as well as veneer coming off.
Now lets be clear that this was not an expensive piece of furniture, but for $200 it should at least come as advertised as new & not as it did.
What a piece of crape. Had we not been in a bind, I would have sent this back.
Wish I would have not bought this.

This is my second time purchasing this. First one arrived perfect and I was thrilled with this pantry so much I ordered a second one. Second one arrive with slash mark from something sharp. May have happened when they cut the plastic from the roll on the shipping box and cut going all the through the box and slashing one of the wooden sections. Contacted Sauder with part number and they quickly sent me a replacement part. I am very impressed how quickly they handled this. Now if Sauder would only square off the sides of the top of their pantries so 2 of these could be butt up against each other creating a more built in look.

I love love love this company. they are so easy to deal with. My doors came a little damaged and we called the company and they replaced the doors immediately at no cost to us. a couple of days and the new doors arrived in perfect condition. this unit was easy to assemble and looks beautiful. It is sturdy and holds all of my linen. I am so happy with this purchase.

I’m giving this a 3 out of 5. Overall I’m content but I have to admit if I saw this physically in a store I probably would not have bought this. The positive…..the overall size is good, I like the cottage style and the storage space is quite functional. The negative….I was expecting a whiter colour, I would say cream is a more accurate description. Antiqued white is not descriptive of the colour but describes the faux distressed finish. Even though the box arrived in excellent condition and the pieces appeared well-packed, some corners of the particle boards were chipped. It was a pain-in-the-ass to get the doors to line up properly too but we were successful in the end. If I'm honest... when we opened the box I was disappointed, once I assembled and lived with it a bit I appreciate the size and storage space but overall I'd say 'meh'.

This was fairly easy to put together, even for a senior! The instructions were actually very good (much better than Ikea which is my only comparable). The unit looks great and is pretty much as described. The only problem I experienced was with one of the hinges which was much looser than the other 3. I tried to tighten but nothing really worked. Since the door closes with just a little nudge and lays flat, I wasn't too upset.

Beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture. I bought it for my bathroom but it matches my bedroom furniture perfectly and when I put it together, I almost wanted to put it in the bedroom, except I already have a dresser there so two would the room look crowded. It is heavy and provides good amount of storage. Only complaint is that the right side door brushes against the inside when I open and close it. Left side is perfectly fine. I think it happens because the holes for the two doors were not perfectly aligned so one door is slightly higher than the other. Other than that, back side that touches the wall is very thin and could have been more sturdy. I searched everywhere for this cabinet and found the cheapest one on Amazon. Delivery was quick too and product arrived intact. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. Very good value for the money. Just wish the right door didn't rub against the inside. That's the only reason I took one start off.

I am beyond impressed with this cabinet and the matching computer desk and hutch that I ordered. For the price, it is extremely well constructed and looks fabulous in my office. According to my handyman it was very easy to assemble as well.
