This bed looks really nice, is sturdy, plus I like the color as well... It was easy to assemble with the exception of a couple bolts that didn't line up just right but managed to work thought that. I wish that the king bed had the same style headboard as the queen and full (the king headboard is shorter) I can live with it because this is in a guest room. All in all, the only down side to this bed was that I ordered it through Amazon... I didn't realize that this was a Walmart bed because how Amazon's descriptions of items are, but the box it came in listed this as a "Mainstays" brand bed which is the Walmart house brand... sure enough I found this on their website $50 cheaper.

Ordered king in black. I was very hesitant that the headboard would be too short, however it is a great height (without box spring)! The bed completes a nice farmhouse/industrial look. The bed has a sturdy feel, and a very classy look. I love that the poles are thick. Overall a great value for the price. Pair with some furniture with black hardware!

The slats are a little over 4 inches spaced apart, so if you use an all foam mattress placing a board down is advised (I got this at Home Depot).

Nice bed. Keep in mind it may not be suitable for memory foam without using additional support as the metal bar slats are too wide per the recommended minimum width by the mfg of your mattress.

It was easy to assemble with the detailed instructions,lettered parts and numbered hardware....it's a well made bed,looks nice ,arrived early packaged well....I do recommend this bed.....you can't get better for this price!!!

I'm enjoying this bed frame so far. It is much sturdier than I expected for the price. It would be possible to assemble it alone but I would suggest having someone help. I also love the look of the frame. It is actual metal and feels like a real wrought iron bed. One thing I did was add some of the cardboard from the box between my foam matress and the slats to prevent the foam from squishing through or becoming misshapen. Another reviewer mentioned this and it worked well. I saw another review that mentioned squeaking but I have not experienced that yet.

I had someone put this together who is a handyman and it took him hours. Only to find out the legs were not even at all and had to saw some down to make it even. I would have returned it if it wasn't such a large piece and almost together when we knew something was wrong. I love the bed now that is is done but the product I was sent was faulty.
