2 hours to put together with 2 people. Pretty well built. Does shake a bit but no squeaking. Instructions were great except for one part. My son loves it.
I have two grands that spend the night from time to time. I needed sturdy bunks. This set fit the bill. The 17 y.o put it together by herself in 3- 4 hours. As with the other reviews, this is a HEAVY box so you will need help. So get yourself asome muscles or borrow some. Follow instructions to the letter. I am very pleased with this purchase. Adult son (250 LBs) spent 2 nights last week. He slept like a baby.
Didn't get delayed even though weather was brutal the week of it being shipped. Seems pretty good for a kids daybed, I'm not sure how it would work for a long term every day bed its yet to prove it self, feels like it needs support for the bottom bed under in between like from the floor to the bed, it moves alot if I want to turn, my movement could bother the person on the top. Plus I wouldn't suggest an adult sleeping on the top tween bed. instructions were easy to follow not a piece missing nor did it have extra pieces so be careful assembling not to loose any pieces or if you decide to use power tools be very gentle as it is instructed not do so. It's not hard to assemble even if you are doing it alone. I still would of liked an extra support bar for the top tween bed, we bought Linenspa 6 Inch Innerspring Mattress, also so far so good seem pretty comfortable for the kids, full mattress seems abit small though maybe add a thicker mattress for the bottom bed I guess.
This product was defective and a total pain to try and recover from. It was far from sturdy a child less than 70lbs on the top bunk was afraid to use it. any slight movement and the entire thing moves like it was being shaken by and earthquake. I had it up for a week and every two days most if not all bolts had to be tightened or literally found half way hanging out of the designated holes. No matter how much you tightened it, it always came loose. This was the worst investment I could have ever done, and as far as returning it. It has been an extreme hassle, Of course there is a carrier service that can come to your house to pick it up, however the return process is taking so much longer and I am concerned I might not see my money back again. Definitely not going to buy furniture from amazon again!
I had read previous reviews that stated this bed is very sturdy. I wasn't so sure that would be the case before assembling it - however, once assembled it is very strong and sturdy! It was also easy to put together. I put it together by myself, so it took about 3 hours. But I didn't rush and could have probably finished it sooner. The only thing I can fault it on are the steps. The rungs are too small and they hurt my son's feet. The finish also had some light scratches that occurred in shipping. A great bed for the price.
Easy to assemble, parts clearly marked took 2 of us about 2 hours. The frame is sturdy and well made. They ship a few extra parts.
Very nice bed. My son absolutely loves it because it. So, I assembled it late st night after getting home from work around 1am. It took me about 3 hours to assemble it. The box is really heavy, so get a second person to lift it, if possible. My box did not have instructions, but I found them online. Fairly simple to assemble, but a lot of parts. I feel like there are some design flaws like the round steps and round slats which would both be better off being flat. And all the plastic pieces that need to go on towards the end are a bit of a headache, but I guess they keep the slats more stable and prevent squeaking and moving. It was a good price and it feels fairly sturdy. Overall, a very good bed for kids,
Appears to be well made. All parts fit as designed. Typical cheap hardware. Allen wrench (supplied) stripped the Allen wrench during final tightening but the threads did not strip so it didn't compromise the assembly. The design is good EXCEPT round rungs on the ladder are difficult to climb with bare feet. A larger flat step would be much better.
We chose this model because it has a sloped ladder which I think is safer.
Packaging is adequate. One part was scratched in shipping.
The bed looks great. No extra tools were needed for assembly. It can be put together by one person, if you're willing to put in five hours and some tears. The desk could be a little wider, but if you're willing to condense a bit you still get a pretty decent office space.
HOWEVER- the one huge downside to this product is that it is INCREDIBLY wobbly. Like being on the bed and even shifting your leg makes the whole thing shake. Not only are the ladder steps super painful to step on, but when you're climbing up and down it feels like an earthquake. Trying to figure out a way to make it more secure, but it's just the product. Waiting for the day this thing just comes crashing down.
Colour is not at all like in the picture. It says black/gray. Pic shows a dark gray and I got the worst gray ever. The bed is extremely heavy so pretty hard to send it back. I cannot tell anything about the bed itself, but I feel ripped off because the picture or the sample colour is not at all what I got.
It is better than what I previously expected. The only 2 downfalls are (1) I ordered a black and got a grey and (2) I was supposed to receive it June 24th but and ended up getting it the first week of July.
I’ve been dreaming of this loft bed for so long and was so excited to finally have it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great but has a few flaws - one huge one being how unsteady and wobbly it is. Despite that, I think it’s pretty okay.
My daughter loves this bed! She is so happy with it
