I returned these as I ultimately decided I didn’t like the shape against the furniture piece I had planned to use them on. I gave 3 stars because they do have that annoying gray/black streak running through the wood which would have been troublesome to work around, potentially even with painting.
The overall shape was nice and they seemed sturdy and strong enough. If you plan to paint them a dark color the gray/black line through the wood may not be an issue for your finished product.

I bought these to paint red and use them for a bar cart. They are beautiful real wood smooth to the touch. I could not be happier with this purchase. And it came with all the hardware.

They have gray stripes threw the wood. A mucky gray color. It’s not a nice wood color like advertised. Another buyer posted a picture of it as well and that also what I received. I’m returning. Buyers beware. Looks like you have a chance of getting good colored ones but it isn’t promised.

Love these furniture legs!!!! So perfect! I purchased a chaise lounge but didn't like the original block type legs. So I found these. They are sanded and ready to paint! They are very good quality, just screw in and they're super sturdy. I highly recommend them. They fit just right. I'm glad they were available in 8 inches any other height would be too short. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase, they were a bargain and turned out beautifully!!

We used these to reproduce a famous brand’s platform bed and it worked out **perfectly.** We are absolutely thrilled with the heft and quality; if you want a more consistent color (as other reviewers have mentioned, they can appear striped), you can use any quality stain or, in our case, dark chalk paint wax, to achieve a more uniform appearance. These were exactly what we needed!
