This blanket truly is waterproof, and has been a total lifesaver with a senior dog starting to deal with incontinence. Even if the poor guy has a full bladder to release onto the blanket, it just kind of stays atop the blanket after it has absorbed all it can.
I truly can’t say enough good things. It feels and sounds like a normal blanket (none of the usual crinkly waterproof sounds), and the outer fabric feels like that you’d feel on a totally smooth hotel blanket topper.
My family has 4 of the 52x82 ones, and they cover a twin bed fairly well, most of the length of our sofa, and covers the dog’s sleeping area between the parents on the king size bed.
My only complaint? It’s not available in solid black, or a lilac/eggplant purple.
When I ordered this, I didn’t expect it to be pretty just perform well. But I was pleasantly surprised that not only is functional it is pretty.
