After buying our first home, our bank account was pretty much tanked. Well, tanked in comparison to how much a couch costs. Most department stores range from $600-$3,000 for a decent looking high quality couch and between moving, having kids, and a cat we were not looking to spend hundreds, potentially thousands, of dollars on a couch after we moved in.

One issue we had was finding a couch to fit, as there was really only one size we were looking for, under 100", but we didn't want to get a couch that was too short either and it seemed like all of the cheaper options were 2 seaters and we have 2 adults and 1 toddler at the moment. This couch fit the bill when it came to everything we were looking for.

We went with the 'Grey Chenille' option. When it first came I was very slightly disappointed. It's definitely a blue-tinged grey vs a plain ol' grey to my eyes. I think it's just because there is a darker and lighter grey mix to the fabric. The first picture with the full couch in view is the true color, and I also included some other grey options so you can see the differences. Overall I've gotten used to it and just a grey couch to me now haha. The only con - which I knew when buying - is that the cushion covers are not removable to my knowledge. They do have a zipper but it is sewn over with a piece of fabric and I have never been able to get it to work. Well, also, if you like to cuddle up on the couch with another full-sized adult, you may be lacking a little room. The depth when sitting is just fine (I'm 5"4' and with my feet on the floor I still have a few inches before my back hits the back of the couch) but two side-by-side adults don't really fit too comfortably in my opinion.

Overall durability - amazing! Our last couch was $900 and after like 2 months of sitting on it the cushions stayed smashed down and never came back up. I tend to sit in the same spot and in the almost 5 months I've had this couch, it has bounced back and looks puffed up and new. The material still looks nice, it's not fraying or anything (granted our cat doesn't claw the couch, thankfully), and my daughter has dropped a few things on it and I've wiped it up with a baby wipe quickly with no staining. The arms are pretty hard with very little cushioning along the top, but I've not found it uncomfortable to sit against them and watch a move or anything, and a pillow will always help with that too.

Putting it together was fairly easy. The instructions were pretty straight-forward. It did take my husband and I both to put it together as you have to balance the middle part to slide the sides on, etc, but one could put it together alone if needed with a bit of patience.

Overall I 100% recommend this couch if you're looking for a durable, quality, and fairly comfortable, but cost conscious piece of furniture.

I will get right to the point. I was skeptical about buying a couch online, but after having poor luck at some of my local stores, I decided to try a mail order couch.

I was very anxious bout receiving the couch, as I did not have a chance to test comfort or see the couch in person. Fast forward to now, I am very happy with the purchase.

To compare comfort/features, I will compare this couch to the one it replaced. My old couch was very old and dated, but very comfortable. It was built like a tank, and a shame that it was so ugly, which is what prompted the replacement. The old couch was the same length, and any person - no matter weight or height - could sit in it comfortably.

To compare with this couch, I would say the comfort is really close. However, the padding (both back and seat) are not quite as thick. This causes the couch to sit a little lower to the ground, but from a comfort perspective - the padding was still plenty thick. The quality of the old couch was better, but because it was back when real hard wood was used. This couch is plenty durable, as long as you do not abuse it (jump on it, or really bang it around). As a bonus - if you need to change rooms or move from your house, you can disassemble it again for easy moving.

The grey is a lighter grey color. Does look slightly lighter than the product pictures, but pretty close.

I did the install myself, no special tools required. It would be faster with 2 people, but complexly possible by yourself. The instructions do a good job of walking you though the assembly. Some reviewers posted that the couch is missing two of the back pillows. They apparently did not read step 2 of the instructions.

Added a couple of throw pillows, and it looks great! Love the end result, and at a very reasonable price.

Edit -

I ordered the matching chair to go with the couch. I was going to write a separate review for the chair, but it is under the same listing - so the same review applies to both.

The chair is the exact material and build quality of the couch, just smaller. Very happy with the chair as well.
This is a pretty great sofa despite its cheap price tag! It arrived ahead of the estimated delivery window and I was able to assemble it on my own.

The seat cushions are super comfortable once fully “inflated” and I’m able to lay on it as a 6ft tall person. The back cushions are comfortable, but since there isn’t a ton of support in the middle (mostly the top bar that runs across the top of the back), it can feel like it sinks a bit in the middle of your back and leaves the pressure along your upper back.

The fabric doesn’t appear cheap and seems like it should hold up pretty well!

Overall, can’t beat this one for the price.
