This was a gift for my son who needed something to fit in the corner of his family room. It was perfect. I had it delivered to his home with “room of choice” delivery service. He said that it was easy to put together. He said that the pieces basically snapped into place and a tool was provided to screw in the screws to anchor the top to the base. He thought that it took less than an hour to put together. There were no imperfections and nothing was broken. He was very pleased with it.

A caution concerning the delivery service though. After coordinating it with my son, I selected the date and time when he wanted it delivered. It appears that the carrier does not get that information or ignored it. Six days before the selected delivery date, I got an email that it was going to be delivered the next day between 4 and 8 in the morning. Since this time and date were extremely inconvenient, I calledAmazon who then called the carrier. The response from the carrier was that if there was no one to sign for it the next morning, they would then deliver it on the originally chosen date and time. Instead, the carrier showed up the next day, but in the evening. My son had some difficulty persuading them to bring the package into the family room, but they finally did as he requested after trying to put it by the garage, then on the porch, then just inside the front door. Having it put into the room where it is going to be set up is important because of the weight of the package. They never asked him to sign for it, which leads us to wonder if they would have just left it in front of the garage if he had not happened to be home.

The piece is as advertised and looks pretty good in our living room. Generally pleased with it, but the
issues were that the instruction booklet is pretty bad and that is being kind. Drawings and descriptions were poor. It is really not that difficult to produce a decent instruction booklet. Luckily it was not that difficult to assemble. My other issue is some workmanship issues. One of the doors was off center and one of the dowel holes was a little offline.

Overall, we are happy with the selection.

The box arrived falling apart. There were several holes in the box that went all the way through to the wood pieces and the front corner of the box was ripped and flapping. The back panel piece was cracked with a big hole in it.

Putting it together would have been easy if the bottom piece would have ben cut to the correct size, but it was too long and would have damaged the side pieces if I tried to force it to fit. The sides of the piece are pressed wood. It is not solid wood. There is no way I could have forced the bottom piece to fit, it would have ripped out the screws and shredded the pressed wood on the side peices. I had to trim off the ends on both sides to get it to fit.

There was also small scratch on one of doors at the top. Once I finally got it put together it looks nice. But when you open the door you see the scratch on the top of the door and the broken back piece is an eye sore. I was hoping I would be one of the lucky ones who posted about getting good shipping and a good product, but unfortunately I am with the group who got a banged up poorly made product. It's definitely not worth the full asking price.

If I can do it… Anyone can do it. Barely any tools are required. It’s easier to do with two people but can still be done by yourself. You will just need a second person to move the finished product if necessary because it’s very heavy.

the box was very damaged on arrival, so I think I was lucky that the product survived but no issues in the end. Super happy with my new bar.

It’s absolutely beautiful and it’s so easy to assemble, which I really appreciate. The only problem is that one of the middle doors on mine won’t stay closed because the hardware (that was already assembled in the package) doesn’t fit together nicely. It will close for a few seconds, but then pops open. For the money, I would expect not to have issues like that. Aside from that though, it feels solid and looks great. I ordered the three door version as well. It hasn’t come yet, but I’m hoping we don’t have any issues with the doors on that one.

Great product and excellent price. Careful it is VERY heavy. Instructions are great. Easy to assemble alone. Looks great and sturdy. Recommend it since it is $500 more at local Ashley furniture store - who would charge extra for delivery. Excellent shipping too - he called before he left it to confirm it too!

I am a Ashley Furniture supporter as my dining room set and couch is Ashley manufacturer .

But my latest purchase , “matching cabinet for dining room “

Arrived and was placed in garage by delivery company driver .

Opened the box and brought all pieces up to the 2nd floor, started to put the cabinet together and noticed a crack on the inside door hinge while installing the shelves . :( Quite disappointed and not sure what todo . The work it took to get all material out carefully from package , bring up and assemble .

To much work to take apart and attempt to re box it …. Impossible .

Just stuck and not sure how Ashley’s can help so I thought I leave a review as I don’t have a direct contact for any assistance her .

Hoping someone can assist . As the crack is at the hinge location , slowly the hinge will fail and wood will completely break away .

Is there a warranty repair ? Is there anyone to contact …
