I've paid $27 for what essentially is, something more worth for a kid's bedroom and if I had to think of other uses, just general organizing. If you have hopes to use something like this for bigger objects and want it to be more presentable? Well, I advise spending a little more for sturdier and of better quality.

When I got the box, they gave me a little more to work with than just the pieces to make the L shape. I actually opted to make a more horizontal shelving than just the L design. I had enough left over to make a cube and to use that for whatever.

As pictured, the instruction manual could really be better desired. I can only guess they assumed that because you're making all of these cubes, it should be easy. In a way, it is kind of easy to follow instructions, but only by pictures. The arrows, lines, letters and all else really don't make a lot of sense.

Once you get a single cube down though, it is really easy sailing from there and it depends on what configuration you have in mind to take it from there with. Whether you want multiple cubes or just a big long shelving or what have you - options.

When I was finished with it, I was just overall - meh. It's not very small but it's also not adequately large either. It's well within range for a small apartment setting, so I can't see this being used for bigger homes and rooms.

I'm not a huge fan of it, I got it in hopes it was similar to the picture on the listing. Which, the listing is HUGELY misleading, of course. Along with the running themes of scammy-looking listings on Amazon where the images are fabricated, the vendor is varied but I am willing to bet that they're networked in some way and when you buy it, the results differ.

Quality-wise, it is sturdy provided the materials work together and nothing breaks when you squeeze it all around for a better fit once you've connected the pieces.

I really don't recommend this, all things considered. For $25, you can actually go to wal-mart and get a Mainstays 3-shelf bookcase for the same price and of better quality in comparison. Or similar listings on Amazon itself for better value.

These shelves... it depends on what you're using them for.

If the items on there weigh less than multiple books- go for it. If items are hardback books or more- probably not a good idea.

I bought it because our old plywood bookshelf gave up the ghost, not realizing that this shelving unit was better suited for more delicate items.

We've had it for about a month and it does okaaaaay, but not the best, meaning- some of the little rods have slipped out of place multiple times (so you really have to shove them in there); one of the material flaps is starting to rip (it's the bottom part of a shelf with little weight on it, so I'm not sure what happened there); there tends to be an overall lean to the shelves and when we fix it (shove rods into their holes more tightly), it'll stay good for a few days before it starts to lean again.

I would recommend having this thing on a flat surface rather than carpet.
Definitely not what I was expecting. This comes in a million pieces and is so annoying to put together. There is a piece missing so it’s just 8shelves for me. The shelves are cloth which I didn’t realize when purchasing so def won’t work for what I bought it for. Oh well live and learn.
Very easy and fast to put together and, I believe, looks very nice. It is sturdy, but not that sturdy. Do not put too much weight on the shelf or it might collapse.
The shelf was easy enough to figure out how to put together, however, the bars didn't want to fit into the plastic pieces meant to hold them together. I ended using a mallet to hammer in the pieces. Plus side, I don't need to worry about the shelves coming apart if it gets moved around.
Materials made of not great & a little difficult to fit together.
This bookshelf was a thing of IKEA nightmares so many pieces... I wasn't expecting 48 pieces of this 26 pieces of that OMG I will read the full description from now on
The product was extremely easy to assemble and it held pretty sturdy. After putting all my child's toys on it, it was a bit wobbly but I wasn't concerned about it falling over because it was still sturdy. He would basically have to pull it strong for it to fall. I gave it four stars for two reasons - 1) there was a questionable powder all over the steel rods and on the fabric. I don't know if it's dust from the steel or fiberglass; in either case, there were gloves in the box which made me even more suspicious as to what this substance is and 2) I don't like how I can't customize it to the way I want it. You have to literally put it together like the image shown, nothing else really. I'm still trying to decide if I want to keep it or return it. Given the price and the ease of putting it together, I'd say it's worth purchasing overall. If you're looking for one than you can customize, then I would purchase something else.
It’s cheap, but takes lots of your time to be installed. It is even harder to disconnect the pieces if you make a mistake and you’ll probably end up breaking them. However, it seems to remain stable even with a few broken pieces.
Easy to assembled just follow the instructions!
Easy to assemble and once decorated, looks great in any space.
This was a perfect makeshift bookshelf for my daughter's room.
