The futon arrived without the weird little pillow things, but that was ok. Those weird little pillow things seem like they’d be a pain to keep track of and my cat would probably destroy them anyway.
I bought this for a couple of reasons. I have a large living room that has 2 full size couches and a love seat. My dog claimed one couch years ago. At the end of the old boys life, he had accidents frequently. The couch he claimed did not go unscathed. When the dog passed, the couch had to go. So I needed a new one. My daughter comes to town every couple of months for appointments with her specialist. Her and her boyfriend like to sack out in the living room. So I figured a couch the folded down into bed would be the best choice.
Pros:
Easily assembled
Super simple to convert into a bed
Low profile, which is awesome in a house of short people
Easily cleaned, spills wipe right off
Potential cons:
Very firm
Smaller than a twin, making sheets fit weird
Definitely need a sheet on it to sleep, otherwise exposed body parts stick to the pleather
I solved the cons with a simple inexpensive fitted memory foam mattress topper. I keep it on there at all times and I keep the sheet on it at all times. I found a sheet set that matches my other furniture, so the sheet helps it blend in, the topper makes the couch more comfy to sit (and sleep) on, and you don’t stick to it when wearing shorts.
All in all, it’s a great and inexpensive piece of furniture. Especially if you have young children or pets. Because, let’s face it, if you have kids and/or pets, your furniture is going to die a horrible death anyway. This has a chance to potentially last years with kids and pets.
The couch was great but I couldn’t find the arm rest and middle part I was going to throw it out when I happened to look at the zipper parts under the sofa…it’s all there…
This couch is better suited for a child’s room where small sized furnishings is the objective. The fabric although referred to as faux leather is not strong or sturdy because I noticed a smaller tear from the shipping handling (box it came in had a crushed corner). Since my intention was more for decorative purposes instead of usual sitting, I decided to keep it and patch the small tear with black electrical tape. Thus, my reason for giving it only 3 stars. Otherwise, I found it a nice decorative piece for a child’s room.
Like the product just that the pre made hole wasn't placed right for the screws and a bit difficulty in getting the middle piece on
I'm having a hard time attaching the cup holder in the middle. Can somebody teach me how to? Thank you so much!
Definitely cheap piece of furniture but it works for what I wanted it for.
The couch came with all the pieces and everything was fine until I noticed a small clear bug crawling. In total I only saw 2 on outside creases and one inside the arm pieces in the foam. Currently have them outside sprayed down with flea/bedbug/mite spray from the store hoping that eliminates the issue. But other than that I am pleased with the couch and hoping to be able to assemble in to completion later. Beware of potential mites before setting up in your house.
Very comfy and good looking futon for a living room. Its sleek design and easy transformation from a sofa to a bed make it a versatile addition to any space. Converting it into a bed was a breeze; the transition was smooth, and the mattress felt surprisingly cozy for a futon. The sturdy build and quality materials assure me of its durability.
