Love how sturdy and so easy to assemble this was. Much easier than IKEA furniture. We originally bought it for the kitchen, but after seeing how roomy it was, we decided we needed more vinyl space and turned it into a record player stand/vinyl storage. We took out the middle beam from the middle shelf in order to let our records fit. And they fit perfectly! So much room for records. Only thing is doesn’t have something to hold it on the side, so we put a heavy ceramic cup with coins in it as you can see on the right side of the picture for now, until we find something more stylish haha. You can really make this roomy shelf into anything. It’s so sturdy. Ofcourse the shelf that doesn’t have the middle beam, we decided not to put anything heavy on it just in case, but each piece of wood is so heavy I don’t think it would be a problem.
We love it!
There are some cons of course. Everything is never just roses and butterflies, but the cons didn’t bother us enough to take out a star.
Con 1: this was one of the major cons for me! As soon as I took one of the wood pieces out of the box, i noticed there was fiber glass all over it. I immediately wiped it down and made sure I wiped all of the shelves down and put an old towel down to work on. Luckily I kept my cats away, because had they played with the box or rubbed themselves on the wood as I took it out of the box they would’ve had fiber glass all over their fur and they would’ve ingested it. So WARNING keep kids and pets away while building this piece of furniture and make sure to wipe it down.
Con 2: One of the holes didn’t align well, so it took us so long to find a way to align it, we finally screwed it in a bit twisted but it worked out in the end, plus there are so many other screws around it to make up for it, that had we not put that screw in, it wouldn’t have made a difference on the sturdiness.
All in all a great piece!
After researching endlessly for a kitchen island that would give me much needed counter space & wouldn't be too complicated to assemble, I chose the Beewoot kitchen island. In fact, I bought two in order to expand the work space as well as use it (them) as a tall table with stools for a place to eat in my small kitchen. These were very easy to assemble & all the hardware was there. And, I am so impressed with the quality of the screws provided.... large & heavy duty. These islands are very, very sturdy, the shelves are thick & hold a lot of weight, especially with the iron frame. I couldn't be happier with my new islands. I highly recommend these!!
looks exactly as pictured but it took me and bf 2 hours to put it together because one screw on each level didn’t match up!! I can tell it’s sturdy but mine is lacking stability due to 3 missing screws. I do wish the top was deeper so our microwave had more space in front of it to pull your food out ect but I saw the measurements and said oh well so thats my own fault. Just something to keep in mind. I would say its nice enough but also think its overpriced given its not real wood and can scratch dent chip and likely will.
Sturdy, simple to assemble, added much needed storage in my small kitchen and freed up counter space. Hung bins with the hooks provided as space to store plastic bags and mail. Would recommend using an electric drill to tighten the many hex screws. Doing that made assembly take about 40 minutes including laying out the parts. Except the mesh panels that fit on the back of the bottom shelves- those were a bit too long and it took me a long time to wedge them in. I laid the shelves on a carpet on the floor and used a mallet to get the mesh panels in place, using the floor to help guide them in place.
I’m very glad I ordered this. It is just what I needed.
Beautiful piece of furniture . Mine is a coffee bar with my Kurig and Nespresso, along with a toaster.
Underneath I stack drinks and other items.
I have been shopping around for a shelving unit that I could use as a ‘coffee bar’ and storage for some bulky kitchen appliances. This item ticked all the boxes for me. Very sturdy and easy to put together. Instructions were simple and all parts were in the box (including extra screws). It did come with little rubber feet that you can adjust if you have an unlevel floor. My only negative is that the bottom shelf could be a little taller (it does not accommodate a Kitchen Aid Mixer). Highly recommend.
Easy to put together and very sturdy. Not a perfect finish as it has an old rustic look. Took less than 20 minutes to put together and was very easy. One word of advice, it is easier to install the mesh back panels if you start all the bolts of the shelves but don't tighten them down until the mesh is installed. I added over 10 SQ FT of shelf space in my kitchen in less than 20 minutes. Would look good in any room.
This is just what I wanted. I love the height. It is very sturdy and well made. One tip when putting it together, don't tighten the side bolts all the way before you put on the screens and the top shelf. I was also please there were extra bolts.
