DKLGG Sofas, Brown

DKLGG Sofas, Brown

Read reviews that mention:

The back of the sofa has three positions. Not too soft. But nevertheless, it is quite high-quality. Easy to assemble. It looks beautiful. 4 sofa legs made of wood, 5 support leg made of plastic. Although it is not very visible.

Probably dropped a few times. Idk. Definitely noticed the left-side backrest was leaning further back than the other. Using flashlight, inspected mechanism--for converting to futon-- and saw a bunch of wood screws were popping up, as if they were about to fall out from the holes of the mechanism/hinge. I undid one stitch on the seat, in order to slide a screwdriver down between the foam cushions, in order to tighten the screws. Ended up finding out these bad boys ripped out the wood; they would not fully tighten/secure into what looked like a square plywood block. The one screw that seemed to have survived whatever happened to the rest was lodged into the plywood block extremely crooked. Even though it looked peculiar, it was getting the job done. Therefore, I left it undisturbed.

Another thing is that the backrest frame for the same section is compromised. Pressure at the top-right causes it to bend back beyond what it should. Anybody's big head leaning back on it will destroy this sad thing. I can hear the wood creaking under any sign of pressure. It just wasn't cut out for the job, in my opinion.

The third thing I found is that the guide holes and screw threads for the two front peg legs were installed in reverse. In other words, instead of the peg legs facing/ leaning outwards, like their two rear buddies, they lean inwards. It looks goofy, but not in a funny, happy way.

All in all, I think I was given a defective product. But I'm not going to take this damn thing apart and try to return it and deal with that process, wait an unpredictable amount of time for replacement, hope the replacement isn't defective or damaged during shipment, etc. Instead, I'm going to build 4 triangular wood supports and attach them to the bottom-back of the backrests and attach a 2x4 across the top-back for added support. I'll make sure to slap some wood glue into that goofed-up hinge's screw holes, too. It will then take a trip from the front room to my boy's room as a gaming/reading couch. (I'll upload pictures of everything later, if this will let me edit my comment.)
A bit disappointed that my item came and it’s damaged. The material is not velvet at all. Other than that it’ll do.
We purchased this for my son's dorm room because he has a single room and doesn't want his guests to sit on his bed. It is perfect. Love the cup holders! This way drinks don't have to be on the floor and get kicked over and/or spilled. We were looking at ones that were a little cheaper but I am glad we went with this one so we don't have to replace it every year! Great value for the money!
It's not the most comfortable thing out there. In fact, I've started a joke that the last family member to arrive at my house during a family gathering will be forced to sleep on this thing; however, for the price and aesthetics, I'm quite happy with this purchase. Everything arrived in good condition, it was easy to assemble, and the cup holder are a plus!
I received this yesterday and it is EXACTLY as pictured by DKLGG! This was easy to assemble, super comfortable, and at a great value!!
Uncomfortable! Too low to the ground
Super cute. Works perfectly. Extremely comfortable, we’ve had it for 2 weeks and have already fallen asleep on it by accident a handful of times
