I did a LOT of research. I had a budget of $100ish. My husband wanted to bless me with a new mixer since my Bosch finally gave up the ghost, but he said he just couldn't get me a Kitchen Aid at this point. Challenge accepted. I had no idea we had options out there besides a Kitchen Aid. I am beyond pleased with this model. My Aucma handles all my mixing needs. It is light weight...but not wimpy. My husband was impressed with the splash guard. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. The parts clean easily. The turn dial lights up so I know right away when I forget to plug it in (every time!). My husband was also impressed with how much quieter it is than my old Bosch. I waited a few months before reviewing to make sure my love at first sight was lasting. As you can see from the picture, it fits well right under my cabinets when not in use. I highly recommend this product.
I was looking for a quality food mixer to replace my handheld one(KitchenAid, last forever :)) because I was tired on holding it too long for bakery. However, these big brand mixers are always at higher price tag. I looked this AUCMA and it fits my budget well. After several baking projects, I believe I have made a right choice.
This AUCMA food mixer is well build with quality. All essential parts are made with sturdy materials expected to last longer. Also the motor is very powerful as you could hear from the video taken from one of my baking project.
The control is also convenient and easy to adjust. All parts are easy to clean after work done. It does not have other fancy multifunction features as other brands which I don't want to pay for as I seldom use. I will be glad to try it out for more baking projects in the future.
First of all, I love the color. This red color is super beautiful! Also, the size is perfect for a family. The handles makes the bowl much easier to hold. I love the design of the 4 anti-slip silicone suction cups as well, which makes the the mixier very stable on the table. The quality of the whisk, mixing beater, dough hook and splash guard are very good. But you need to pay attention that dough hook is hided in the back of the foam. Don't throw it!
This mixer is much better than my older one. Finally, my older mixer can retire now! I would like to recommend this mixer!
I have been always wanting a mixer for bakery. Those pricy $300+ mixers in stores just kept scaring me off. This guy is the perfect solution. First it's got all the functions I need from those pricy ones. It comes with three beaters from light duty to heavy duty (dough). The speed is adjustable. BTW, the speed knob looks so cool with a blue backlight! I like how easy to use. Just plug in and turn the knob. That's it. No chance to make mistake. It's a 600W+ machine, meaning I can do some serious baking. It's the right power for a 4 people family. When it comes to cleaning, just tilt the head and unlock the bowl. Super easy to clean. You do hear something when this 600W monster is running but it's far from unpleasant. Overall it love it!
I was really excited about getting this mixer. Smooth and quiet and stable. Everything about the mixer was excellent; until I washed the beater in the dish washer: all of the silver; supposedly chrome or stainless steel; at least in appearance. Underneath it was some type of metal that bled black and gave the appearance of lead!!!!!!! So for THAT reason, I do not recommend the purchase thereof , not it’s selling.
I received this mixer for Mother's Day and I absolutely love it. It is very well made without being obscenely heavy. The attachments are not super heavy duty but more than adequate for daily use. One of my favorite things is that the whisk attachment gets all of the dry ingredients well incorporated. I made pudding in it yesterday and there were no dry pockets near the bottom. I would recommend using the paddle attachment if you are doing anything thicker than liquids. It is also relatively quiet for such a powerful motor. I would definitely purchase purchase this again or recommend it to someone else.
Great speed settings, easy to clean, well made overall.
My only complaint is that roughly only 4.5-5 Quarts of the mixing bowl is usable, as the mixer attachment goes down into the bowl leaving the top of the bowl unusable.
Still can easily handle 2-3 lb of thick dough with ease.
Overall definitely unbeatable for the price!
Edit:
After months of hard use I had a small issue with the mixing bowl, support was extremely quick and fixed me right up!
For the price you would expect the support to be lacking, so I was really surprised to see how quick and professional they were.
The shipping is super fast. I received the item in two days without being a prime member. It is a beautiful, shining kitchen power horse that meets my needs of making bread, cookie dough, noodle dough, beating eggs, and whipping cream. It is very powerful compared to my bread machine and takes about 15 minutes to get the bread dough well-knitted and form a thin layer when stretched. Beating eggs is also a piece of cake for this mixer.
The mixing bowl is made of heavy gauge stainless steel and I love the quality! The other parts of the mixer are less solid but fine for the jobs they handle. There are 6 speeds and a splash guard. For $88, this kitchen mixer accomplishes the task of a Kitchen Aid without the much higher price tag.
This kitchen mixer is more for family needs as the mixing bowl is quite large. I usually use 3 cups of flour and find it handles the job easily. But a small batch may not be so easy to work with.
