I've had this product for a couple of months and loved it. Like some of the other people that have left reviews, I too had issues with how hard it was to adjust the legs...but I lived with it. It wasn't THAT bad, just wasn't as "easy" as the product page suggested. Anyway, last week I went to adjust both legs at the same time (a task I've done successfully multiple times before) and both legs just snapped off in my hands!
I reached out to the company and they expressed their surprise and replaced it for free right away. It was a positive customer experience and they really went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. Since then, the replacement product has been a dream. I literally use it every day.
I like it a lot. Its sturdy, flattens out, easy to assemble, it can be adjusted multiple of ways... I like that I can use it to lift so I can stand. My one complaint is having to adjust each individual joint. I wish it were easier to adjust.
A hit and a miss. It works, but the fan is very cheap. The legs of the stand is very hard to function since you have to adjust each and every joint manually. If the angle or position is off, the thing won’t even stand let alone hold a laptop.
UPDATE*: The seller was open to suggestions and even offered to replace the item. 3/5 for product but 5/5 customer satisfaction.
This product in my opinion is not a stable or good product. For one, the USB cable that plugs into a USB port on the laptop to power the cooling fans is not a stable or strong enough cord. As you can see in the picture the cord split open and that was on the very first day. Secondly, the cooling fans are not in a good location to adequately cool down a laptop. Thirdly, the cooling fans get very dusty and clogged very easily. And again that was within the first week of using the product. And forth, this product is not good for using on the lap because as you can see in the second picture the adjustable leg is bent from using it as advertised on my lap. The legs do not extend outward. Only up or down NOT left and right. Therefore when using on the lap said legs bend. And lastly, the mouse pad that comes with this product is flimsy and is not very easy to remove at all. In fact I've almost bent it on the end just trying to get it out when not in use and over time from trying to get it out it's left visable marks on it. So my final conclusion? Do NOT purchase this product if you intend to use it on your lap. Because in my opinion it's not worth it.
I got mine very recently and fell in love with it immediately. I have a very short desk and was always having to hunch over to do detailed work on my laptop, and even had to look downward just to watch videos. As soon as I set this up and got my laptop raised up to eye level it felt like I was working in a completely different environment. I could sit with good posture and see all the necessary details without having to hunch or sit in an uncomfortable position. Getting the legs into the position you want can be a bit of a chore since all the different joints have to be adjusted one at a time and lock into specific angles, but once you get what you want it's a solid and sturdy stand. The built-in fan seems pretty week, but I didn't buy it for the fan so I don't really care about it. I now have my laptop raised up to have the screen at eye level with a wireless keyboard and mouse setup beneath the stand. Working is so much more comfortable now and I wish I would have bought one of these sooner.
Love it. Works great for my horizontal child in his bed. Can game all he wants and now that he has a large husband pillow and a stand. I am afraid I may never see him at all now. Oh wait, there is no food in his room.
Nice unit, easy to assemble and adjust, tons of positioning ability. Really makes using the laptop on the couch or in bed much more feasible. Just a note, I am a stout build, size 38 waist, male, and the width for me could be 2”-3” wider to have more ample space to adjust and move. But it does just fit past my hips as is. Anyone that had trouble adjusting or assembling it needs to go have cognitive testing done to make sure you should even be operating a motor vehicle, a child could put this think together.
Other than finding the tray that holds the mouse less sturdy than I would like, I've been very pleased with this device. I've tried two other laptop "tables" both of which sat directly on my legs immobilizing them. This allows me to work while in a favorite chair, sitting on the floor, or propped up in bed. I like being able to adjust its light weight, adjustable height, and platform angle. I'm not sure it's beatable for the price.
Lightweight and easy to assemble. Sadly a bit too lightweight as one of the legs popped out and doesn't seem to be repairable.
