First things First:
These batteries have no diagram or instructions, so here are things you avoid.
do not connect between the wires going fron one side to the other side, it would not work.
Dont try to disconect the wire that goes to the rail the moves the chair, that wire would be hard to remove and you might just ruin your recliner.
what you do is, go to the side where the electric wire from the wall connects to your recliner, on that side it should be a packet with a zipper on.
unzip it and you would see wires, you need to just nice and easy find the transformer, is just a square looking block, looks just like the ones that comes with the power cord of laptos.
grab it and you would see on one end it has the two prongs connection, just un plug it and connect the battery one to the transformer and one to the battery.
make sure you disconnect from the wall before you do these, taste it and it should work is that easy.
hope it helps..
these is for a two prongs recliners.
We recently moved into a new house and bought a new reclining sectional that we adore. It has three different reclining sections. Each also has individual head tilt and have USB ports to charge devices. Additionally. each reclining section requires its own power source. That's three individual power cords that would've been running all over my house with corresponding extension cords which I wasn't about to have cluttering up my beautiful new space. When the RC Willey guys delivered the couch, they told me they sell batteries like this but I would need at least 2 and that they cost around $200. Before I went in to the store to buy them I shopped Amazon first and found these. I decided to give them a shot! I bought two batteries and one splitter cable. One battery powers two of the recliners that are right next to each other and the third powers the one on the other end of the couch. The one battery that powers two recliners using a splitter lasted exactly 5 weeks and 2 days on a single charge. FANTASTIC!! That definitely exceeded my expectations! The other battery that powers the single recliner has yet to need another charge and it's been over 6 weeks. Charging these batteries does take a while, but I do it overnight so it's no big deal. The battery itself tucks nicely under the couch console and stays out of sight. I am SO happy I bought these! They are worth every penny. If you have powered furniture and no in floor outlets, you owe it to yourself to order these. TRUST! And yes, I paid full price for them. I hope this review has been helpful! Please feel free to ask any questions.
I was unable to get out of my chair during power outage with the battery transformer supplied with the chair. This power pack has solved that problem. I am very pleased with it so far.
This item was purchased to avoid running an extension cord from the powered chair to a wall plug. The chair is a double seater so two sets of seating adjustments are taking place over the daily use. It easily lasts for 10 days without recharge and when put on the charger is recharged in about 2 hours or less. Works GREAT.
I used this on my couch. I moved to a new home and didn't have a plug near my couch. I plugged this in a month ago and it is still going strong without having to charge. And you can't see it. Fits great under the couch. :-)
So the furniture store was going to charge me $250.00 for a battery block for my chair. I quickly searched amazon and found this one. Making sure the connections were the right ones, I ordered it and saved 150 bucks. this thing works perfect. I have had it for over a month, use my chair a lot and still have not had to recharge it!! Great buy and value!!
Did not last for more than a day and a half on our chairs. We do not have USB chargers on them, but our chairs do have other features like head tilt, lumbar and massage! Great idea, and I was so thrilled to have no cords, but just not for our chairs. I don't doubt they may be great for others, but definitely not for Southern Motion with SoComfi.
Very happy, so far after a couple months on the initial charge and it’s still going strong. Time will tell but I’m very please, plug in and go easy as 1,2,3. All the research I did and reviews I read claimed it had great battery life and performance and I am pleased to announce that they were right
