I was reluctant at first to purchase these as I wanted cotton curtains. However, these have not produced any smell whatsoever which makes me a little more confident in my purchase even with them being polyester. The first photo shows how effective it is at blocking light. This was a requirement by my husband. The second photo shows how lovely the drapes hang, almost like pinch please curtains. I do have to pull them that way to align properly, but it's not a lot of work. The third photo shows how nice the stitching is and that the backing is the same color as the front. The final photo is of the back tabs of the curtains for reference in how they hang on the rods.

In regards to the company: I had to contact them with an issue on one of the pairs of curtains I purchased. I sent a message at night and heard back the next morning. They immediately rectified the issue without any run around--which says a lot for companies in this day of age!

I agree with the reviews that the bottom of these curtains are not perfectly level-but pretty close. I have furniture in front of the bottoms so it is not big deal. We had blinds up but got these for a room that we turned into our living room. It was previously too bright to have the television in there so I got these, moved the rooms around and it is perfect for our living room/movie watching experience.

The quality is wonderful--better than expected--and stands up to our three dogs pawing at the curtains on the sliding glass door to go outside. We can tell a difference in maintaining temperature control as well. While I can see the picky people saying they aren't completely blackout panels, they really do block out 99.9% of light.

After we saw how well these held up and how nice they were we bought some for our bedroom as well and now our dogs sleep until we wake up on the weekends and they are not up at first light...bonus!

Got this in the navy & sky blue colors. The sun shines directly in the bedroom window in the mornings & as you can see from the photos the navy curtains block like 99% of the light. When I close the navy curtains you can’t see through them at all.That’s how great these curtains are.
I also bought the Light Blue curtains. Unfortunately they sent one with the wrong color & size (Teal Blue) in the 63” length (too long), so I sent it back to exchange it for the right curtain. I attached a photo of the 2 different blue colors. Just like the other reviewers said the lighter color curtains don’t completely block out all of the light but it does a pretty good job. I’d say it blocks maybe 80% of the light. But i’m okay with the amount of light because the blue curtains are for the living room & I didn’t want it completely dark anyways.
I originally had the Eclipse Thermal Blackout Curtains, which blocked out maybe 80% of the light but a few years later & all of the white thermal backing is coming off in a powder/flour form & leaving dust everywhere including on our arms, hands, windowsill & ground, so we had to get new curtains.
FYI: on the top of these curtains (between the rod & the wall) some light does come in.
I really like the different ways you can hang these curtains: insert the rod into the curtain or hang it by the tabs in the back (which is easier to open/close it). The curtains have a sort of silky feel & look to them. They look great! I washed them in cold water on gentle cycle & dried them on low heat & they look perfectly fine. These curtains went up in price by like $10 now that it’s getting to be summer so I’m kicking myself for not ordering these curtains sooner.
I also ordered the 100% blackout curtains in this brand, but it’s taking a month to come in so I have yet to compare that to these.
Overall I’m completely satisfied with these curtains. I would buy these again & recommend to others.

I purchased these room darkening curtains because the light pours into the room and hits right on the bed (and on your face) early in the morning. I decided on the grey color over white because I wanted the best room darkening possible. The grey looks nice with the eggplant colored walls. I used a hot, steamy iron to get the fold marks out. I am very pleased with my purchase, they really work. Make sure you get the wrap around curtain rod if you want to prevent light from getting in on the sides of the window. Some pretty tie backs would jazz it up!

I ordered 6 pair in the dark gray. They look great, feel great, and really block almost 100% of light in my bedroom - and I have quite a few Windows. Hung them straight out of the package. I have recommended them to a few of my friends already. I paid full price and chose these after much research. I definitely recommend these.

I have tried many blackout curtains or should I say they claim to be blackout curtains. To my disappointment, they have all failed until now. I bought these Nicetown to give them a chance, and they are 100% blackout. I use them in a patio sliding door that gets the afternoon Texas sun. Immediately upon hanging them I could feel the difference in the temperature of the living room. Very nice since now I could adjust my thermostat up instead of down to cool the room. So happy with a product that does what it says. I just bought another set for my dining room window that faces the same hot afternoon sun.
The seller did send them out in one-day delivery and the best part was that I didn't have to iron them which means NO WRINKLES.

These are awesome. I don't live in a noisy environment so I cannot speak to that. However, the blackout is incredible, better than any other black out curtain I've seen out there. There is a noticeable difference between having them open and closed in the winter so 5/5 for energy efficiency. Bought olive green and color is rich, fabric is soft but you can tell it has polyester in it

The material is nice I like the quality. Definitely not black out curtains. I would expect 0 light to show through on curtains. First reason for 3 stars. Second reason is that these are very poorly sewed. They are very un even and have a swoop on the bottom hard to explain. I bought 4 sets of these all different colours. All are sewed exactly the same. I have been fighting with one panel and and iron for over two hours to even get it to look half decent.

They are soft and I love the colour! I didn't hang my bar right to the ceiling or far past the window - so yes light comes through those areas, but otherwise they work well. They block all the light that would be coming through the fabric if it was not there. Certainly for people who need to sleep before sunset or past sun up. It also helps during my mild migraines if that is a consideration. Would buy again in same colour or other shades if I need them!

We got these for our toddler's room and they worked like a charm. They blocked the light very effectively, hang nicely and we really liked the grey colour. Would definitely purchase again!

I'd say the light blockage is 95%. Makes working the night shift easier. I sleep during the day and these are amazing for darkening my room.
