Quite soft and plush. Easy to put over loveseat. Vivid color. One of the best seat covers I have bought...and you can't beat the price. I rolled magazines into a tight roll, banded them with tape, and placed them in plastic so the ink wouldn't rub against my slipcover - and inserted them in the corners to make sure they stay put. (I always do this so slipcovers don't move around too much with use). Loved this slip cover so much I bought a second to use when I switch out for more autumn themed colors.
If you don't have pets (or don't have pets who shed a lot), this may be a good choice, but you would probably need to replace the inserts used to keep the fabric taut, since those provided kept popping out anytime someone sate on the sofa. With the inserts in place, the cover looked nice (I purchased the navy).
I have removed this cover now and have no plans to continue using it due to it being a magnet for pet hair. I have a husky and two cats, and thus deal with a significant amount of pet hair. While it is washable, I would have to wash it daily for it to look presentable.
Fit is okay. I’ve have had this on my couch for just a couple weeks and it already has holes in it. Not even sure what they’re from. The cheap bed sheets I was using to cover my couch held up better than this.
We used this to cover an old couch in our play room. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but I am pleased with the quality & durability. I have 3 rambunctious boys and a large breed dog, the couch cover is holding up well against the 4 of them.
Let’s have a conversation about expectation vs reality. If you’re buying this slip cover expecting it to go on your sofa and make it look like a newly upholstered dream, move on and just go get your sofa upholstered. Seriously. Nothing will be good enough. If you’re looking to just cover the existing upholstery on a sofa and want it to look pretty good and not like something that you’d find in a frat house, then this is the cover for you. It’s a little hard to get on and once you do, there’s a lot of extra material. It took some fussing and tucking, but I managed to get it to look pretty good. The material is a little weird - it’s like super soft checks - but that’s not really an issue. The cover comes with these foam rolls that remind me of mini pool noodles that you tuck into the sides around the cushion. It keeps the extra material in place and keeps it looking not super lumpy. Add a cute af pillow to it and no one will even know!
It looks alright at first but after one day every bit of dust, dirt, and lint is on it. As if that wasn't bad enough, after you sit down it has to be adjusted every time. It shifts around and looks like a big stretchy throw.
I think I have a pretty streamlined couch and loveseat. Not the huge overstuffed kind, and yet, I've had a heck of a time finding covers that fit and cover the entire couch. Leather Couch is 83"x37" and Loveseat is 63"x37". The arms meet the back of the couch in kind of a sled like form, which makes fitting a cover a bit difficult. I've tried the Velvet kind with "special" grip and it was immediately evident that they were too small. These were the only ones that fit and gave enough room to reallly tuck in the excess with the foam rollers, while still covering entire sofa.
As others have stated, there were unfortunately, some tiny holes along the seams. I;m not going to send this back because they fit so well, but will have to get out the sewing kit, which I wasnt expecting to have to do for a brand new product.
I bought the Taupe color and it is a true light brown/gray. Cool color that pulls from any browns or grays you might have in the room. This was important to me, as so many colors are too warm and orangy. I noticed not many people comment on the color, so hope this helps.
Looks SOOO much nicer than the old worn out leather!
The cover arrived new straight out of the box with a hole in it. I returned it and the replacement arrived with a bigger hole in it than the first one!! Cheap material and arrives with holes already in it!
