We just got a kitten. He's 3 months and SUPER BUSY! Bought these hoping he would loose interest in the bottom of my couch. Thank goodness he did. I put the xl sheets on the ends of my sectional and I cut the large ones in half length wise and put them along the base. He hates the way it feels and I love that he now leaves my couch alone. They stick very well. Havent lost any stickiness yet. Happy fur mommy.
She may look innocent but take my word for it, she is not. This little girl just wants to scratch on everything despite having multiple scratching pads and posts in several rooms. I got 3 sets of these after trying a couple other products and just basically covered my house. I covered the places she continually scratches and it's clear she does not like getting her little paws stuck on them. It took a few days for her to learn the sticky stuff is staying on everything so I've noticed her using the scratching pads and posts more than usual and most importantly, she's left my furniture alone. This has been the most effective product I've tried and I'm super happy I bought 3, very well worth it.
We recently adopted a new kitten, whom has decided our new living room chairs are her new scratching post. Despite giving her appropriate options for scratching she insisted on destroying my new chairs. These have helped tremendously. They are sticky on both sides so she gets mad when her paws get stuck on them. She hasn't had any interest in the chairs since applying these. They are also transparent, so unless you are looking for them, they kinda blend it. (They are a little shiny, so they aren't completely invisible).
We've tried tin foil, sprays and also that electric eye sprayer and our three cats and they only bat the cans away and down our stairs. We decided to try something different and we placed this tape on the back side of the steps and it works perfectly. They don't even come to the top of our stairs now during the night. I haven't tried it on the couch yet, but suspect this will work great on any surface. Strong-willed cats will not like this.
My roommate's cat has been utterly destroying my vintage furniture. I ordered this on a whim, just praying it would help. The instructions made it easy to use, and it was easy to maneuver it around the bends of the furniture. It's been two days and I haven't seen him scratching at all! There is plenty in the package, so I have extra in case he finds a new piece of furniture to destroy.
I got this for my sister in law, who has new sofas and two new kitties. She must not have read the instructions completely when installing it, because she didn't initially realized it was double sided, but once she realized that, she loves it! It installed easily, and her cats have not been scratching the sofas anymore. It covers a large space.
These sticky pads have been the answer to our cats going in places that they should not be! They have started to deter behaviors of climbing on counters and scratching the ends of our couch. They are very large surfaces, so we have cut them down to fit in the areas where we don't want the cats misbehaving anymore.
This works surprisingly well. We'd just purchased a new leather sofa and our cat, who's normally not very destructive, immediately decided that the arm looked like a scratching post. A few days of using these tape sheets, and the cat has totally lost interest. Saved our couch!
