These feet are great for protecting your floor. The problem I have with them is the lack of sliding that occurs. Our felt pads were great for sliding, but they would fall off center and eventually come off and the chairs could scratch the floor. These will definitely not scratch your floors, but you also won’t be able to slide your chairs anymore. For the dining room, this took an adjustment period (which to be honest is still ongoing.) I am thinking these are much better for furniture that doesn’t move, like a table. Very safe and protective, but not great for mobility.
I initially bought these to fit around the feet of my barstools but were too big. I was, however, able to repurpose them for my dining room chairs! They fit perfect, even though they’re a square shape. Installation was as breeze. I did have to remove the nailed-in plastic pads from the bottom of the chair feet first to prevent them from breaking through these. Easily done with a screwdriver. They do not slide at all on a tile floor and definitely hold a grip. Makes it a little harder for my kids to slide the chairs in and out but also eliminates that loud noise created with chair legs dragging across the floor! You all know what I’m talking about. Almost like nails on a chalkboard sometimes. These covers completely eliminate that. They hold up pretty well with constant use!
We have vinyl floors that are supposed to be scratch resistant. But unfortunately we have some scratches already. Our furniture came with plastic pieces attached to the bottom of the feet. But one of them had nail the start to push through and another one had a pebble get stuck in the hard plastic, which scratched the floor. So we got these silicone bottoms which were easy to put on. They are stretchy and soft so hopefully no pebbles will get stuck. So far they seem to be working great. I was afraid that they would slide off but they haven’t. I was also afraid that they would be an eye sore, but they’re barely noticeable. Our chairs are an off white color and silicone blends well.
I got some adhesive furniture pads that prevent furnitures from scratching or marking the hardwood floors, but inevitable make the furniture more slip prone even when sitting. Then, these silicon anti-slip anti-scratch protectors caught my attention. And they are everything they promise. The translucent color makes it discreet-ish, they are so anti-slip that the chair won't move by sliding force (you have to pick it up a little to move it), and they definitely protect the hardwood floor from any markings or scratches. I'd highly recommend this specific listing since it comes with 32 of these (so probably 8 chairs).
We have new wood floors so we wanted to make sure that we eliminated any easy ways for it to be scratched. These leg caps are nice; silicone so they are flexible and won’t scratch your floor or furniture, and flexible so they can fit round, square, and oblong legs of your furniture (although they definitely prefer round legs). Being silicone, they are better for chairs than the felt pads because they don’t slip easily like the felt pads do. A full 32 pieces is also nice in that it can protect 8 full pieces of furniture.
These furniture chair legs cap is great for many chair leg sizes. It's very easy to put it on and you just simply stretch it to put them over any furniture feet you want. It has enough for me to put for 8 chairs for our dining area. When you have kids that you need to get these legs cap to protect your flooring. They seem to be staying on and I have been using for over 2 weeks and none of them fall off yet. Also, It has cut down the noise when the kids moving the chair. I am very happy with this product.
Our floors are wood... old wood. Our dining room chairs kept scuffing up the floors and making scratches... or they were being slid across the room and toppling over by our toddler. These silicone furniture feet cover work well in keeping the chair feet from scuffing up the floor. They even make it more difficult to slide across the floor, so it is a deterrent to him. The silicone is stretchy, but tends to only fit furniture with small feet.
These are perfect for furniture that you want to (& should) stay stationary so the furniture doesn’t scratch your floors. Feet of couches, tables, etc. They are very soft & stretchy. Will stretch to fit around most sizes/shapes within reason. I was hoping they would be soft enough for them to slide for my dining chairs but they are not so don’t get them expecting to use them for that. I’m happy with them overall for the other furniture so my floors are protected.
