This shelf is just what I was looking for to save space and hide cables from my wall-mounted TV. The wood-appearance is from a sort of wrap/sticker around the shelves, and mine was sticking up at one place, but I smoothed it out, and now it's fine. If you're not up close and examining the shelves, you wouldn't notice that they're not real wood. But you get what you pay for. It was pretty simple to assemble. It took me about 20 minutes alone. The only challenge was that the top and bottom parts of the frame were hard to connect unless the frames were both closed. It took some wiggling and some muscle power, but once it's together, it's solid. For my purposes, I did not need the wall fasteners, but I don't have any kiddos running around. I was glad it included them though, in case I move it around and need them in the future. I am happy with this purchase.

After an initial problem with the engineering of the shelf, we received another one that was perfect. I assembled it by myself in under an hour and I’m very pleased with the result. It’s strong and sturdy and looks good.

It was easy to put it together, took me around 30 mins by myself. I am more of minimalist but there is something missing at the corner, i am happy about this purchase, its not the cheapest you can find here in amazon but it looks elegant and sturdy

I LOVE this item! Its better quality than I thought it would be, and I love the regal styling it gives my bathroom. It is also extremely sturdy. You absolutely cannot beat it for the price. Every time I walk into the bathroom, it makes me happy to see this. I'm not kidding, I actually feel a boost in my mood (Lol...simple pleasures!) I love the somewhat pyramid shape it has. Pyramids are very good for feng shui decorating, and recommended by experts to enhance the energy of certain parts of your home based on the feng shui Bagua map . Its just a great piece, and one of the things I'm most happy about buying on Amazon.

This was a pleasant surprise. I shopped locally unsuccessfully and took a flyer on this on line. I needed a corner unit and this has worked out well. Heavy materials and a pleasant looking composite material for the "wood" shelves. My wife and family also complimented its appearance. It also comes with brackets to secure the upper portion to the wall to prevent it from being pulled over.

UPDATED review: I originally gave this item 1 star because, although the individual shelves looked very nice, the two metal shelving pieces were misaligned and it was impossible to assemble. However, the company's customer service was SUPERB. They sent out a replacement item within a day, and I assembled the shelves within 15 minutes of opening the package! The product was very easy to assemble, and the shelving units are lightweight, sturdy, and very attractive. I highly recommend.

I love the corner shelves we ordered. The colors fit perfectly with our decor. I was a little disappointed that the shelves were plastic and not actual wood, but you can't tell looking at the. Easy to assemble. Love that the feet are adjustable to make it perfectly level.

I’m editing this review because this bookcase is not safe. My 3 year old was grabbing something from the shelf and the whole bookcase fell on top of her. It says that it brings hooks for security but they were not in the box. The shelves were also starting to tear off. I obviously got rid of it after the incident. DO NOT BUY!

Very beautiful and easy to assemble. It’s perfect for a corner and you can display so much stuff on it. Loved the quality and the price was very fair. I highly recommend it.
