This is NOT designed for Twin XL beds.....
The pad is 72" long. A Twin is 75" long and a Twin XL is 80" long.....
The description says it can be used for Twin and / or Twin XL.......
It can not the way it's designed with the straps pockets.
We have a Sleep Number Split King with the ability to raise the head. After my wife passed and I found a new friend, we did not need the ability to raise the head and kept falling into the gap. I called Sleep Number and asked about a bed bridge or gap filler and they said they had no such thing. A friend who once had the same problem said bologna and suggested I look on line especially at Amazon, and Ta-Da, there you were among others. The reason we picked yours was the width of the bridge. Oh, by the way, the cats love to play with the end of the strap which dangles below the bed.
This connector works well for the "Grand Canyon" we had in the middle of our adjustable King bed. One note is that we still have to adjust the strap each time we raise or lower the head or foot of the bed, but it is not too bad. I'd rather adjust once in a while than risk falling into the "Grand Canyon".
Works well to connect 2 twins into a king. Strap goes through both ends of the pad which is nice. Strap is super long, about 2 inches wide and enough length to go around 2 full size mattresses at least. Memory foam center expands once you unroll it and works well and the extra wide top fabric is soft and also works well. Only complaint strap is really long but can be mitigated by twisting the loose end around the strap a few times. Pretty nice system overall at a reasonable price. Five stars.
I did a lot of research on bed bridges and thought this one would work best for me. It definitely filled the space between the twin mattresses, but the flat part on top was so thick that I felt like I had to roll uphill to cross the center. Even once the bed was made, you could still see the mountain in the middle. It would be much better to make that top section much thinner, both for looks and for comfort. I'm sad I have to return it and look for a flatter one.
We have an adjustable split king bed. It’s a little bit short, but does the job and there is no gap. I wish they would’ve made it longer, and I would definitely get it again.
Perfect does as described! Doesn’t move and can hardly tell it’s there. I do have a mattress pad and feel it helps everything stay in place. Was able to do it by myself as well!
Works great and keeps the mattresses together like it says.
