Brackets themselves are solid and well worth getting. The screws supplied work well for the side rail brackets but as far as the brackets for the headboard and the footboard, those screws are way to short and just don't have enough length to handle the job when it comes to gripping and or holding the bed together. So I would highly recommend doing EXACTLY what I did... I switched out longer screws for the headboard as well as the footboard brackets and its just fine now. Remember though, if you don't then your bed will be unstable and could easily fall apart on you or even with you in it.

Many problems with these. No instructions, screws too short, brackets are thin sheet metal that can be bent by hand, and they aren'table to be installed without modification. I had to use a shim to install these otherwise there is no clearance. These look like a clone of a superior product.

This was exactly what I needed, built two beds for my great grandsons and they worked perfectly.They were easy to install and I've since taken the bed apart thrice - each time reassembly was no fuss because of these. A whole lot easier then cutting a grove and inserting pens. I am sure that they will hold up under these two boys.
