Good solution for some furniture that was going to scratch my new acacia wood floors*. For some furniture it was just a temporary solution - so we could just get back to using our family room with new wood floors after we tore out the carpeting. But for other pieces, we realized that since these caster cups were hidden and the furniture wasn't going to be moved around much anyway - then they were good enough to be permanent solutions.
*Castors on furniture that is on carpet are totally different than what you want once you have wood floors. In fact they are totally the opposite of each other. Castors to go ON Carpet (Metal caps or balls usually), will scratch wood, and castors to go ON wood (felt or carpet), will make it impossible to slide furniture across the carpet.

By themselves, they're not bad. However, I take strong issue with this portion of the description:
"SLIDES EASILY KEEPING CASTERS OR FURNITURE LEGS IN PLACE- Use these furniture protector cups to reduce friction and slide your furniture easily keeping the caster or furniture leg in place with its cupped design."
Maybe this varies by shape and size, but for the ones I got (2.5" square) this is absolutely NOT the case. The furniture WILL quickly slide off the casters, as every other reviewer mentions.
The solution is to take some material (the best is probably a cheap mousepad; I used plate-packing foam sheets) and fold it up, then put it on top of the caster, under the furniture leg. This keeps the furniture in place. But it's annoying to do and too ugly to leave.

I put these under the feet of my sofa to protect the vinyl plank flooring. As other folks have mentioned, the furniture feet have a tendency to slide out of the cups. As long as you don't move the furniture too often they may work fine. Unfortunately I do move the sofa often to clean. I bought the 2.5" squares because of the shape of the feet on the sofa. As it turned out, the feet had little metal caps so I could have gone with a much smaller square which might have stayed put better.
The 3 stars is because furniture feet do tend to come off.

I recently had my hardwood floors refinished and needed to put all of my furniture on top of some kind of pad. I bought these mainly for my piano and beds. They did the job and even though the furniture is on wheels, I can still push it around a bit pretty easily without the wheels coming off the cups.

Not sure what they are for but they slip out under chairs when moving. Bad quality, soft, completely flat after 2 weeks of use.

Not happy with these. The underside is hard plastic and slips out from under the chair leg if it's moved even slightly. The "carpeted" side is thick enough to prevent damage, though, if your furniture stays on. I would screw these into the bottom of my chair leg but my gut feeling is that the plastic used is too brittle for that and will crack. Eventually will buy something else.

I really liked the idea of these to move my furniture without harming my oak floors. I used these to assist in moving a couch I use six of them, one for each footing that was on the floor. I moved the couch just a couple of feet and a few of the casters were already left behind. You may think that all feet were not touching the floor; I checked and they all are evenly touching. These are not very reliable. Not a winner in my book.

These fell off as soon as we tried to move the furniture piece. We kept repositioning it. It finally stayed on, but did not make it any easier to move the furniture. I ended up putting dish towels under the legs and was then able to move it. Would have returned it but with no free returns would have spent more on the return shipping than the product cost
