You truly get what you pay for. In an attempt to be more of an adult and spruce up my bear cave I decided to purchase this bed of rickety rusty nails. Firstly, delivery was a day late so after having had my old couch removed I was left to sit in an old chair, and forced to sadly reflect on my life choices. Not a good look on a well preserved bear turning forty. Secondly, when it arrived the box looked like it had been used to rake the forest floors of Finland. Thirdly, while trying to set it up I realized that not all of the pre-drilled holes for the legs aligned, and, subsequently, I would have to muster some masculinity to use power tools to remedy this situation. After butching out I was able to get it standing, and my mood improved. *Mood improvement actually due to the giant Manhattan I imbibed. Fourthly, the armrests are more of an intangible suggestion than actual support. Kind of like thoughts and prayers. Fifthly, three days of use and all I can think about is how many books or cinder blocks I’m going to need to keep it propped up. The legs are apparently set in some sort of cork and lead second lives as contortionists, as they have started to bend in directions that make as much sense as the floral foamesque cushions that adorn this dainty beast. I have that haunted house fear every time I actually do gingerly try to sit on it because I don’t know if it will be the end of my life or not. In conclusion, swipe left. Thank you, next.

Pros:
- Overall, pretty comfortable for sitting and laying down. (I’d say the cushioning is on the former side, so it comes down to preference)
- Comes with two small matching couch pillows.
- Reclined back position in between couch and bed positions.
- Instructions are easy to follow, comes with the hex tool for the bolts, and even had an extra washer left over, no missing parts.
- Good length futon, being 6’2”, I can lay pretty comfortably.

Cons:
- Middle of the futon where it folds together for storage/transit is hard and not cushioned. Can be uncomfortable when sitting or laying in certain positions.
- Box was in extremely bad condition upon delivery, the futon is large and quite heavy when packed up & the box it came in was a very thin cardboard - it was falling apart and I’m surprised it even got to my doorstep.
- One small blemish in the base of the futon , likely during transit.
- This futon is pretty HEAVY, the assembly instructions say 1 person, but I strongly recommend 2, just to help maneuver the futon much easier during assembly and movement of the futon.

I originally got this futon for my husband's grandmother who will be visiting us out of the country for some time but after putting it together in my son's room we realized we just may keep it for him.
I'll be honest I was super worried how will my husband and I move it up the stairs in our home but surprisingly it wasn't too bad. It arrived folded and we just rolled it up the stairs. By the way, I am 9 months pregnant and all I had to do was give my husband instructions which angle to roll it up the stairs and afterwards we sat down with our toddler to assemble it. It was super easy to put it together and instructions were very clear and simple.

My favorite part was discovering the secret compartments where I found the two pillows and tools to assemble this futon. It felt like digging for gold haha. Now I will be using those compartments for bed sheets for guests.

Being 9 months pregnant and 5'10" I found this futon to be super comfortable to rest on. The color is light, which makes me nervous with a toddler but I tend to cover it so he doesn't spill anything on it. My toddler loved jumping on it and resting. Who knows, he just may move in his own room soon thanks to this futon!!!

Another great part to this futon, it didn't take half of his room and there are many different ways to adjust it from sleeping on it to sitting or laying down while watching tv shows.

Overall, a really great product and well worth the money.
I would recommend this product to anyone who has guests over or has a toddler.
