First this tray seems to be made ok, though I will have to return it because one of the legs wont stay up, it is also child sized in height. So an adult will find it to short to lay back and use, but will make a nice table center tray.

Bought two of these for my boys to use for homework, snacks, etc. They love them and use them daily, but already they are breaking. My boys are old enough to not be too hard on them, but the handles and sides bracing the legs are breaking off. They can still be used, gently, but are not very well-made, and the boys are disappointed. I appreciate that they were inexpensive, but would have liked them to last more than a couple of months.

Considering the price, the overall quality of the tray was not bad. The base is a bit flimsier than expected, but it does hold the weight of a decently sized meal and plates. I was hoping to also be able to use it for schoolwork with my computer, but its not quite wide enough for my computer and mouse. However, this was not its primary purpose, so I can't complain. I do like that the legs can fold up for storage. Overall, pleased with this purchase.

I did not realize this has a flimsy bottom. Not sturdy and I am afraid that if I put anything too heavy it will break :( I wish I bought a more expensive one and considered solid wood but I need this badly for my sick hubby so I'm keeping and using it. Just need to be careful.

Came with a hole in the table! Box and plastic wrap were undamaged so this must have been damaged prior to shipping!

The listing states that the table is made of bamboo. This is true of the frame and legs but not the serving/flat surface which made out of fiber board covered in a faux bamboo veneer. Very flimsy.

I got this for my friend as a Christmas gift. He loved it! Says he really needed something like that, instead to leaning over his sofa to his coffee table to eat lunch. He's in a studio apartment so everything is compact. This lap desk came in handy to be a mini meal table. A snack desk. A desk for writing out bills and notes, he absolutely loves it!!!!!
