I have tried numerous products to keep my table and chair legs from scratching up my hardwood floors ranging from felt dots (which always end up moving to the side of the leg instead of the bottom) to striped “socks” from Daiso (which are adorable but end up slipping off, also make the chairs more slippery! These are awesome, they were too small in diameter to work with my table let’s but fit nicely on my chair legs. Stay on well and provide a nice nonslip cushion to keep them from scratching up the floors. I think this listing is a good price too (more caps for the price than others). Overall I’m pleased.
These are great silicone feet for chairs and tables. I was looking for some non-skid feet that I could add to the chairs that are on a hard floor to prevent slipping and also to protect the wood from spills and the like. I was a little concerned because I wasn't finding rectangular ones for the rectangular legs of the chairs - I admit I didn't look hard enough - but these actually worked! Not only will the prevent slips and protect the wood, but they are soft enough to mold around the rectangular legs and even provide a little padding to the chair when you sit down. Very happy!
I went back and bought the larger pack that are labeled as blue. They are more of a bluish grey, but certainly are of the same quality and coverage. Note that the blue are not transparent, like the others, so make sure you are getting what you want.
If you have chairs that are pulled in and out constantly, you probably know the annoyance of those adhesive pads that stick on the tip of the leg. Mine are always falling off and I’m replacing them weekly. In addition to that, there is the problem of dust and cat fur collecting on the adhesive over time and having to pick that off. These caps are a great solution to these problems. They stay put well on the legs of chairs, without adhesive. The rubber is firm enough that it keeps its shape on the leg and doesn’t fall off. The soft felt pads slide smoothly and do a good job of protecting my pine flooring which is easily scratched and dented. They are pretty unobtrusive. If you too are annoyed with adhesive felt pads, I recommend giving these a try.
Teacher here, yes these do fit on classroom chairs! I teach second grade in a room with concrete floors. I didn’t get them to protect the floor but rather protect my ears from the terrible sound of 15 chairs scraping against the concrete. So far these have been great. I bought two sets but could probably use another, I’d like to do the tables too. The felt is a little thin but we’ve had them for about a week and they’ve held up pretty well. They seem to be staying on also, I haven't seen a single one fall off yet. One of my students even remarked that they really do work to cut down the noise lol
These little furniture protection covers are super simple to put on and use. You simply stretch and pull them over whatever furniture feet you want. It stretches very easily, but doesn’t get slack and fall off. It’s made of some kind of silicone so it doesn’t seem like it’ll tare very easily, which is nice that I don’t have to worry about being careful when pulling it over anything to get it on. The only thing that prevented me from giving this 5 stars is that once on, it makes it that the chair doesn’t glide very easily like it would have if I used a felt furniture sticky pad. But then again, those felt pads have peeled off, which is why I wanted to try these. Overall, it works.
My hardwood thanks this product! We have tried multiple types of felt and rubber attachments to the chair legs to solve the scraping of the hardwood floor with no resolution - until now! These caps have finally solved the issue! Finally, I can focus on the big stuff - serving meals with the family and cleaning the kitchen without worrying about the possible damage to the floor.
For years I have been using the hammer on kind that you buy at home improvement stores and they eventually fall out or break. I buy new ones and start all over again but the nail hole gets bigger with time and then they won’t stay in at all. I got a bad scratch on my wood floor so I looked on Amazon and found these. They are wonderful! They went on great and fit snugly. I removed all the old ones so that they could snug up tight. And they are barely visible. Also they seem pretty sturdy so I think that they will last. Even if they wear down the price is great and I would not mind having to replace every few years.
I bought these to put on my barstool feet to protect my laminate floor that is starting to get scratched up. These are somewhat hard to get on because they are smaller at the top than at the bottom. However once they are on they stay on very well. These do not collect dog hair like my cork bottomed silicone foot covers. A good value for the package since you get so many of them for the price. Very happy with these.
