I bought this to replace my old chopper that broke. The quality difference between them is shocking! This one is so much better! The plastic is much thicker and more durable. It cuts even hard vegetables easily. It’s very stable when using it. The blades latch in instead of just popping in, making it so much easier to change the blades. The hinge also has latches which makes it so much easier to take apart and clean it. All of the blades fit inside, so I don’t need separate storage for them. It looks like it’s more expensive than it is.

After looking at sooooo many different products and reading reviews, it seemed there weren’t really any good choppers out there. One cooking article I read even said there aren’t any good ones, just a not terrible one. Can’t remember if this was the not terrible one from the article, but for me it works. It does require quite a bit of strength with some items (required my full arm on the top and applying as much weight as I could). Could be it’s not supposed to cut green pepper, but I got it done. I learned with the onion just to cut it up into smaller chunks and then I didn’t have any problems. Yeah you’re still cutting the onion, but not as much as it takes to dice it all up. Easy to clean in the dishwasher. The little brushes are handy getting skins and such off the cutting grids. Haven’t tried the spiraling attachment yet so no feedback there.

Well I purchased this chopper in hopes it would encourage me to eat more salads because it would be easier to prepare. And I infact have been eating more salads but not for the reason I thought. I am a visual person and absolutely love how this chopper makes all my veggies the same size. It does chop all veggies much quicker than cutting it with a knife, but you still have to cut the vegetable to an appropriate size for chopper and the clean up process is quite lengthy depending on if you are chopping anything somewhat mushy. I still feel like the chopper is well worth the money. It’s fun to use, makes your salads look extremely pleasing, and if you just wash it immediately, clean up is not that bad. Highly recommend!

I originally bought this thinking I might be able to use it for whole potatoes, but that is not the case. I had to cut them with a knife into thick slices and then run them through the chopper. But love how they came out, perfect for breakfast tacos! I used gold potatoes which are a bit softer and easier to cut. The manual says not to use with sweet potatoes or beets (the harder veggies) and I can see why - even the softer yellow potatoes were somewhat challenging (though still doable and I will keep using it for this purpose).. I would not try with hard root veggies.

Bought this for my mom. We’ve had several throughout the years. BEST thing is the 5 cup container everything diced drops into.
